    I like to quarter radicchio, sear it in a pan in olive oil and then eat it drizzled with balsamic to sweeten it a bit (and salt pepper)
    My husband hates it but I guess I like bitter a bit more. It’s so good for digestion too

    Everything looked delicious as usual. I like your version of the egg bake breakfast. It’s a little different from the typical egg casserole. And for those of us who eat very little (or no) meat, it’s a nice and filling meatless option. But those who really like meat could definitely add some cooked crumbled breakfast sausage or cooked chopped bacon.

    Just found your videos! Will you please explain how cooking the chicken yourself is healthier than getting a rotisserie chicken? I mainly ask because it’s cheaper for me to get a rotisserie chicken at Costco.
    Thanks!! I love how attainable this is

    • @healthyelizabeth
      @healthyelizabeth  2 месяца назад

      I love good questions like this!! I still get a rotisserie sometimes too - I promise I’m not the food police 😂. That said, they are usually not pasture raised and are fed gmo soy or corn which makes them high in omega 6 and 9 fats and they usually coat them in soy or canola oil which causes a lot of inflammation. Sometimes I even see things like Carmel color in the seasonings. So when you make your own you can avoid a number of things!! Just food for thought.💛
