I think if you have the pump sprayers pre pumped before you show up its more efficient. But on the other hand if you have a master blaster then i think its just as much effort as a pump sprayer. Because you always have to pump the sprayers no matter what. I find the best solution is a master blaster spray bottle because it uses alot of product like the pump sprayer but you dont ever have to worry about havinging it pumped up. Tommato tammato..Also ive found if you take a cheap bucket and cut off the bottom like a deep plate then cut it into 4ths like a pizza.. i use them under the wheels so the hoses dont get caught. Its cheap and it works. I put those under the wheels as i hit the wheels so i dont waist time doing it separately...
Out of all the detailers on YT you keep it the realist man. That's why I watch your channel I've learned so much off you. You alone helped me get over my anxiety for starting a detailing business because there's so much misinformation out there and you just keep it real and tell it how it is. Keep up the good work bro.
Finally Someone else using the 1 bucket method. Honestly this method changed so much for me and minimized scratching so much. Larry from Ammo showed me this and I’m never going back. Great video!
I really like your video and I really like your comments. I owned a mobile detailing shop back in the 80s I really enjoyed it and unfortunately I underpriced myself right out of the business, honestly wouldn't mind getting back into it again it was fun, it was always great seeing the customer smile, especially when they walk out to their car and say "Oh my God it never looks so good" . Keep up the great work!
Exactly why I haven’t started a RUclips channel. You’re right all the critics will be out in full force. No two cars are the same, so in my opinion, sometimes you have to break the mold.
I understand your point with how people could have misperception of a proper efficient detail due to the entertainment aspect of youtube detailing but would you ever consider showing your actual full, raw, most efficient procedure so us detailers can optimize our own process ? Also make sure to get more SD cards so you don’t have to be transferring out files 🤗
Awesone as usual..Just one question.. why use that paint sealer/wax instead of a quicker silicate base spray wax. To justify charging more or ? Just wondering..We've switched to silicate based spray waxes to save time. Seems to have almost the same results. i cant imagine your getting much correction anyway from the machine. Just asking always looking to learn. Thanks
Looks sweet....as an director of operations I can understand and appreciate the pro active approach to time is money so keep moving.. That is team work
In my services, should I have the main ones and then have extras for upselling (eg tar remover, etc) or make them all inclusive kind of, but more expensive?
I think you just nailed exactly why I'm so slow. I'm learning from RUclips but no detailer on there is going to tell you to skim over stuff that doesn't need much attention. They show you how you should be rotating a little detail brush over every surface. I couldn't understand how a guy can do a whole interior in 2 hours working like that....but if you can combine 3 steps into one, that's probably the most efficient. When you look at price Vs time, you just HAVE to cut some corners or be more efficient. Otherwise, you'd only do 1 car per day and only get $200 for that...it just doesn't pay that way
Damn it's nice to see an actual real detailer instead of those who take 12 hours to do a simple job. Back when I had a detailing business it only took about 2 1/2 hour to 3 hours for the most difficult complete details.
Hi Oscar, have you thought about saving time by just leaving the camera running while you detail, and then add all the narration/explanations later when editing? Just a thought to save you some time while detailing P.s. I'm kinda like a weekend warrior, and I could never do 3-5 vehicles in a day. 2 would be a longggggg day...really inefficient ;-)
Since you are already using car pro eraser , I would highly recommend using car pro essence if you want a very light polish with some fillers. For cars that have ceramic coating , try using car pro essence plus which wont remove the coating and it will rejuvenate it .
I’m a weekend warrior detailer and the one thing I got to say is when you’re moving fast, you tend to miss some spots. One thing I did was write down everything from step 1 to the last step that I would be doing when I’m detailing my car. I use that paper as a reference so I can basically study my procedures and remember what I need to do. I don’t know if anybody else does that but it has helped me in being quick and efficient because before I wasn’t cleaning my car the way I wanted when I was moving fast
We actually use them more as guidelines. We can't create an SOP for every scenario we come across. Couple that with proper training and knowledge and there's a winning formula
@@DetailGroove used to have ammo nycs pump for eco rinseless.foam was great, lasted like 8 months. Hardly ever do rinseless ive only been back for 3 weeks so im being cheap on stuff. Will prob get one next week.
Bro, on your advice I'm getting a pump sprayer for pretty much everything! For iron remover do you get one that foams? It looks like wheels you used a foaming one but the similar foamer I found isnt acid safe....do you have a acid safe foamer? The only acid safe one I found was non foaming. LOVING your videos and I'm watching a ton of them! Great info! I'm a one man show and trying to get faster...I think the pumps will help!
Styling and profiling for a RUclips video is mainly for show but anyone really grinding and hustling their butts off trying to knock out a detail will treat things differently. My goal is not to mess around but get the work done under a specific amount of time and be done with it. Wasting time doing something isn’t going to keep you wanting this line of work for long.

Why don’t you guys use a spray sealant over applying a wax/sealant? It seems faster to apply with less equipment. I have been using the EGO blowers since 2015 and they are awesome. It does suck up front buying batteries but less time and hassle with chords and generators etc.

250 for a car wash and wax? Exterior only? It takes me about 5-7 hours do do one car inside and out. For 100-150. You are lucky to have a market like this. I respect your hard work,I do it every day,but in my opinion,it is insane to pay prices like this for a careful car wash.. it is just mind bogling for me.
