You got out there and tried to make it happen. Only 80 or so people on planet earth had the balls to show up and try, so great job dude. Cant ever bag on anyone enjoying riding and doing there best to make it happen. Keep rippin🔥🔥
Its ok not doing so good! Like you said just making it there is already more then most of us 😅The thing i cant stand is earring him come up with all those excuses!
Hey man I’m sure a bunch of people have already said what I’m about to say but talking down on yourself or comparing to “how you were” last year or anyone in general is the thief of joy and happiness. What you’re doing and have done is impressive. You’re one of the top 3% of riders who HAS qualified. And you’re still in the top 3% of rider who are even able to or have the ability to even try and qualify. Most people and myself included can only dream of even being in the same spot you are. Good riding brother. Keep you head up, and stay hungry, humble and focused and most importantly stay positive!
Dude you are all good, nobody is going to judge you because of you're performance. We love you dude ♥ I hope to see you at hangtown tommorow, best of luck man.
If im being honest, I havent watched any of your other videos since last years nationals. These national videos you put out are SO good. keep em coming
Look first off , Its Motocross and secondly you are honest to yourself and that gets my respect , I shattered my wrist at Pax Traxx and three hour surgery and two months later with a ton of hard work i came back faster than i was before a silly mistake of casing a whoop on my sight lap and went over the bars and my bike landed on my arm . Could not believe it happened but the moral of my quick story is set backs make you take a deeper look at yourself and sounds like you have a great head on your shoulders a Kuddos to You for getting back after it. Pleasure watching your blog and what its really like . Not many people really get it unless you get it. KEEP RIPPING ..Sincerely
I’m glad you finished your vid like that. I was gonna put a massive comment summing that up. You’re a top 20 rider, screw your head on right and slay it tomorrow. Also by the sound of your bike vs what the cam shows really proves the deep and slickness of the track. You did not look like you were going anywhere in a lot of parts. But first race back, you know what to do Jeff. Stay up, stay strong, stay smooth, just let it come to you. 💪🏻 hope to see you at shougal!
Commented a few months back regarding you only practicing. Matty B is a prime example, dude hammers and puts in the work, travels the country and gets after it and the content is sick too! It’d be good to see you do some money races and keep the programme running.
Your national videos are 100% fire no matter if you qualify or not bro we know it’s insane we all got the upmost respect for you for giving it your all keep the content of the nationals coming you’re gonna turn up this year I know it 👍👍👍
I'm gonna need you to pump up the optimism these next few rounds. Dont forget who you are and what you've accomplished. You're an inspiration to all of us. Keep speaking great words to yourself and continue shredding brother.
From racing MX locally and seeing you blow past me on a practice day at moto Xtreme it's mind blowing how much skill you do have. Keep up the good work Jeff.
Big respect! I understand if that performance was below your standards, but you are a damn BEAST!! Thanks for posting these amazing videos, we'll all be cheering you on!
It takes a lot of effort just to get here so don’t beat your self up over it. You’re one of the best riders I watch consistently. Saw u there good luck at Hangtown
Good ride today in hangtown man, was watching qualifying and looking out to see if you were gna make it thought and you did, good job man, give them hell later today bro! Much love, love the videos too bro keep up the work!
You even riding on the same track as them guys! If more than most could do. Keep up the good work it’s refreshing seeing a first person go pro of the track
You're flying man. I seen you at Moto Xtreme, I said to the SC3 guys "that guy on the gasgas is hauling!" SC3: "That's Jeff Walker!" It was my first day back on a bike in 9 years, was cool to see you out there. 🤙 Good luck out there!
I believe it said you were 42nd in qualifying? That’s pretty damn impressive coming off reconstructive surgery, west coast, new bike, we can all see the potential you have Jeff just keep grinding don’t let those tough days beat you cause you’re tougher than half this competition 💪💪
Dude If I could ride as fast as you could on your “bad lap” I would be singing from the roof tops. Coming back from injury and still being able to go to pro nationals is insane even if you didn’t qualify. Even top guys struggle after like Tomac this year. Don’t be to hard on yourself, and things will only get better throughout the year.
Keep it up you'll get it next time I was right there on the fence at fox cheering you on in the consolation race where you wiped out just don't get down on yourself
Maybe if you done longer motos on rougher tracks and actually got some gate drops in at least a couple times leading up to nationals you would be more prepared and make some money too instead of asking for handouts or selling expensive ah stickers. Field is more stacked this year with hard working riders. 14 secs a lap off Jett is not going to get it done
Way to go Walker not many guys get back up the way you did keep your head out of the mud and watch everyone else and how they ride so you can pass them I am routing for you
Least ya have the nuts ta get out there and send it! Believe you me, i know what it is to be hard on myself.... just keep living in the moment... that is all we have... no regrets... you got this!
National tracks are harder, they form up differently and the competition is fierce...all tough things to wrap your head around....if you haven't done it for awhile. Hang in there, you'll be back up to speed in no time!! Good luck this weekend.
Dude honestly sometimes you just have bad days, just think of it as progressing 1% at a time no need to rush, like i just broke my leg and im riding again and every ride is a progression session getting better 1% at a time and sometimes your just gonna have bad days. Don’t disregard yourself ive been watching you for a long time and you have the speed.
Brother just remember where you are at. Myself along with so many others would do almost anything to be in the position you are and to have your speed.
You gave it your all mate and that’s all we want to see! Just curious if what I saw was something you noticed… the front end seemed very busy and nervous. Did it feel that way to you or did you struggle with suspension setup to match the conditions?
Yo Jeff walker, I’m looking for a bike to set up for motocross, I am 165 lbs 15 years old. I currently own a ktm 250 xc f 2009, but it feels to clapped to tune in for a racer bike. I wanted to know your opinion as u have raced a ton of bikes, I was looking to get a 125 2 stroke but I want to know what u think the right bike and brand and model to get
I’m your same age and pretty close in weight. I ride a yz250f. But I’m no professional by any means! Get what you want to all of the bikes are really good these days!!
Out of curiosity, why don’t you race more? This past year I understand - you were hurt. But before that. I see a lot of other aspiring top pros traveling within a 5-6 hour radius as often as possible to hit bigger regional races during the offseason. I obviously don’t know pro motocross as well as you, but I do know racing, and I feel like racing as much as you can is better for a race program than turning practice laps on a track. It’s a mindset thing. You clearly have speed, so it seems like real time gate drops would be even better. Plus, we would thoroughly enjoy the content!
Does your bike feel down on power out/up there compared to back home? Them 450's have so much power I was just curious how much it was noticeable. Hoping to catch you at Redbud this year. STAY SAFE Dude!
You'll get there. Maybe some build up races might have helped? Track looks tough for a first race back. Your riding was improving - turn the page. Speed is in there somewhere and best of luck in Hangtown!!!
Crazy how Jeff thinks hes a bad rider but in reality hes better than 99.9% of people in the entire world. You are your own harshest critic and likewise your own biggest fan. Remember where you came from and put into perspective just how good you are compared to the masses. Dont get all stiff and tense let yourself be yourself, worrying and stressing doesn’t help anything it only makes things more difficult so why let yourself feel that way in the first place. You got this shit Jeff believe in yourself ffs.

Still a bad dude on a dirt bike but the problem is so is everyone else. The race will come where you feel comfortable, keep chugging away. Good luck in Hangtown 👍

Jeff you are riding a bike that the pros even struggle with going fast on going to the gas gas was probably a bad call but what do I know go Jeff tho 🎉
Honestly has a privateer with a multi injury year I wouldn’t ever think you would be going as fast as you were especially considering the track being pretty loose and sloppy
Mabey on round 2 don’t wear a GoPro , Ik there won’t be footage but it might help you lock in more and focus on the riding and not the footage btw your a amazing rider🤘
I paused the video after your first hot lap. To me, I got the impression you were really tight. It seemed like you were trying to force going fast which made lots of mistakes and being choppy. I think maybe with all of the stress, setbacks and the expectations (which I think you put on yourself btw. I think well over 90% of your viewers just love you and your videos regardless of how you place.) I think you just need to relax bud! We all know you are good and fast! I think if you can find a way to relieve some of that tension, stress, and built up frustrations from your off season, I think you will bounce back and start placing again.
