Jeff you're a mad man, absolutely ripping! Good luck at Southwick 🔥
Pulling for you Jeff! Make this 70 year old former motocross racer proud. GO 841
You sure do put ALOT of trust in them sandy berms. A few times it looked like you accelerated faster than on the straight-a-way! Good luck this weekend bro
dude you're ripping. this looks like a really cool track
Your corner speed was the fastest it has ever been. Keep it up!
You always kill it in the sand man. Absolutely flying.
Ripping! Was a pleasure meeting you at high point. You and your dad are great people.
My boy on 🔥 that's right looking good 👍🏻 brother
It looks like your corner speed is faster and your using more of the track. Absolutely ripping
Above all, a significant increase in speed in the corners, which looks very good.
Thank you. I knew you could ride like this. I think the balance between not getting hurt and getting better is a hard one to walk, so we resort to being careful to protect our dream, but in fact, it can hurt us because we never let ourselves get too close to the edge. The problem is, you can never become top 10 steady when riding within your preferred limits and by always being careful. I went through that for a while, and nearly never crashed because I had a Business, a partner and children, so I rode with that in my head constantly. But when I finally tried to ride to my full capacity one race, I broke my Rt hip and left wrist at a Winter O. I believe the best guys are better at managing that 9/10's of their limit, but that is not easy to do. You seem to be a very level headed rider, and don't seem to make too many mistakes but as friends told me many times, if you ain't crashin, you ain't trying hard enough. There is some truth to that but if you did lap times and compared them to todays riding, you are absolutely going quite a bit faster around that track. I do believe that the more you ride close to the edge, the more comfortable you are at that place over time. I have seen many laps there from you, and this just looks so much faster and aggressive, it's very impressive. The best place to do it is at a track like that too, because it's not hard packed. I learned to ride in the sand in Florida, and it was forgiving when we went down, but I wasnt very good at blue groove tracks. Anyway, good job and looking good out there. Keep it up! Thx for the vids.
Dude is flying!!❤❤
Ripping Jeff ! Definitely notice a more sense of urgency and getting up and about sooner in corners
Love it man
Flying out there Jeff… maybe will see you at Southwick this year. Only 45 minute ride for me little longer for you. Good luck
Quick 10hr drive for me!😂 hopefully we’ll see you there
Sendy’s working💪. Speed up👍. Flow smooth🤙. South wick LETS GO
Man. You are reading the track great. Nice pace!!!
Supercoops is no joke
Looking really good 😄👍
Looking fast!!! Good luck at Southwick!!!
Thank you!!
Remember key of being fast is consistency, knowing what parts of the track to push.
Always looking for you on the leaderboard bro.
Enjoy it, let it rip!
absolutely cooking🤘🏼
Jeff - Great pace and really pushing - once you got into it. Been watching your training and race for a while now. It's not that you aren't fast - you ARE. The guys you're chasing are WOT from the gate. They are half a lap ahead by the time you get unglued. Would love to see you train one run-in lap. Stop, set up for start, then blast off full intensity from start to end. Your greatest gains could be unlocked in the first few laps. It's points gettin szn. RIP IT!
I was out there yesterday watching you rip! Was a heater for sure. Keep up the great work man 🙌🏽
amazing session, many greetings from Italy
absolutely sick man, keep it up!!
You should do well at Southwick! Show us what you got!! Glenn from AZ🌵🤙🏻🤩
About 5 minutes in this starts to feel like MX Unleashed!!
Every time I watch you’re vids, I think to myself damn I need to practice my corner speed and rutt positioning 😂
Hopefully the vids help!
Damn 1 minute ago, early first viewers squad? Only true fans get that notification on their phone when the vid is up 😂
Earlier viewers are my favorite❤️ (don’t tell the late viewers)
I feel like I’ve let you down now Jeff 😢 😂
Some people have a job. Daddy chill
Hi sir. Push it, Push it good, Push it real good. Always do your best and have fun. Never quit when you still have something to give. It's not a funeral, make some noise. Privateer power. Have you ever raced the magnificent Millville national and what years? Did you ever meet the Whoop Monster? If you are going to participate, make sure that you give your all. Thank you for your time. Privateer power. @@JeffWalker84
Damn.Once you got moving that looked GREAT.I miss racing😕
Especially sand races
Flying keep it up that's what I am working on as well sending it lil more I tend to ride in my comfort zone feels good to push outside it
I went to a Southwick 10 years ago, and it was the most miserable hot day ever. I’d watch the race for 30 minutes, then sit in my rental car with the AC blasting for 20 minutes.
Something about that track makes it hot. And, I’ve spent time in Texas, Arizona (108F), and Turkey in the summer. Nothing was as miserable as Southwick.
Love the vids mate
That looked super fun! Wide open with your butt on the rear fender!!
BUDDY IS MOOOVIN'
Me: that's not the line I would have taken.
Also me: watching this from my couch at 2am drinking wine and eating Doritos. 😂😂
Love this channel man and love watching your videos!
Awesome love the vids keep ripping
keep using as much of the track as you can, lookin great
Banger yeah for uploads
can't wait to see you at the wick
Can definitely see more bike control compared to year prior
That looks soooo ridiculously fast. Other riders seem to be standing still. I don't even know how you can still make those turns.
You’re insane dude!
Its crazy to think that yea you don’t make the motos every week and theres a lot of guys faster but you are still in the top 1% of all dirtbike riders in the whole world. Good luck next weekend👍🏼👍🏼
Have you ever been up to Baja Acres for a practice day? I know it's much further north, but idk of another sand track in Michigan that gets national status rough during the week. Check it out sometime if you haven't. Back in the day, all of the living legends around the area trained there.
Dude you lean that thing over any further in the corners and you're gonna need to install some knee pucks and switch to MotoGP 😃. your lean angles and the speed you carry into the corners when you hit them right is absolutely mind boggling.
Go score some points for us. You got this 💪
Jeff is ZOOMIN
Keep pushing Jeff🦾🦾 looks fast as f**😵💫
Absolutely rippin! but seeing the footage you looked more comfy on the ktm.
sending it🤙
Dude your ability to commit is on another level. Any useful tips on how to avoid cross-rutting?
My best tip for sandy/rutted conditions is to focus on controlling the bike with your lower half. Specifically using all of the micro-suspension in your toes, ankles, knees, and hips to maintain forward drive. Put all of your weight into the footpegs (even when sitting) and really pay attention to the the holes/bumps/soft spots that you’re approaching. Use those tiny movements of your lower body to push and lift the rear tire into those pockets and keep the rear wheel biting. Cross rutting normally happens when the rear end gets loose and shifts side to side. As long as you’re maintaining traction with the rear wheel, it’s unlikely the you’ll cross rut. People love to say the tracks are smooth in my videos, but they don’t realize all the work I’m doing with my lower body to make it *appear* smooth when it’s actually rollered out
Looks for a new jeff walker next week
id be really interested to see your workouts/ gym routine man! also diet on days you go ride? i cant seem to dial it in.
you look good bro!
Corner speed is crazyyyyyy bro!
Yes my boyyy🫡🫡
Flowin
Day 76 of cheering on Jeff. Go Jeff go !
ride every track like a sand track carrying speed and being light on ur feet and u will see a massive improvement.
My speed is more like your sight lap 😂 always rooting for you. Good luck this weekend
Jett Lawrence who? Ripping 🤘
Wsgg Jeff 😮💨😮💨😮💨
I'm really suprised you dont have a LIT pro to help you train with lap times and progress
see ya at the wick
Top 15 at southwick 😊
Looks like an Old timer friendly track. Even I at 69 could run that track
I’d end up in the next state over if I tried hitting a rut that fast.
I'm tired and I'm just watching man. Hopefully you got those garbage cans ready cause I think you're gonna need em. 🗑️💧😢. Ripping as always tho dude. Good luck at the Wick! 🤜
We got the kiddie pool on lock🔒 thanks brother
@@JeffWalker84 Don't forget the water wings. 🤜
haulin the mail, bro
With the season happening you do much fitness off the bike?
Old guy question here. Whats the key to staying in ruts? Is it just speed and lean angle?
It all comes down to balance. Going faster makes it easier to balance and simultaneously gets you out of the rut faster (meaning you shorten the amount of time you need the balance for). Entering the rut with the correct lean angle is the first step. Sitting straight up and down also allows you to adjust your balance easier. Hunching over and rounding your back makes it a lot more difficult to correct your balance. Smooth braking and smooth power delivery will help keep your suspension settled. Aggressive braking/throttle bursts will upset the suspension and make things more difficult
What happened at High Point?
Anyone got suspension tips for me ? Racing a track that gets really hard choppy and a few downhills with huge braking bumps, would I go harder(stiffer) or softer front and rear
Why didnt you race High Point?
Fast af, now work on those starts!
I mean no disrespect because you are quick AF, but how fast must the top 5 riders look on a chesty 😎
I think they’d be going roughly this same speed on a smooth local track. Their skill and speed really shows on the rough, deep, sketchy pro tracks
What’s your whole camera setup?
Hey Jeff! Have you ever considered trying to do a collab with an MX coach of your liking? Could be a good opportunity for them to get exposure and for you to improve :)
What watch do you use?
Your flying brp
What tire are you running big dawg
Dunlop MX14
Jeff just zip tie that throttle wide open! Then u should be good to go, definitely a top 5🤔
great ride! but, without any disrespect, as a sand rider, i think that you are choosing outside line way too often. in some cases you could drive through inside line with the same speed as outside. i know that you are trying to save energy, but in the race it can probably cost you more than 1,5 of a second per lap, i’m not cryticizing, just an advice. go JWALK!
Normally the inside lines form really well at Coops and I primarily take them, but for whatever reason they just wouldn’t stick yesterday. You can see me try an inside on one of the right-handlers and it’s just a muddy mess
The AI ad before this video was legendary. Just sayin
What track is this?
Great ride
@JeffWalker84 was absolutely ripping 😮
guys should i get a yz125 or tc125 or ktm125sx or Mc125
Either a yz or a ktm
What track is this???
mx14 for the tire Jeff?
Yessir🫡
@@JeffWalker84 I figured! I've been running mx34s (stock) at my local sand track and excited to see how well the MX14 hooks up now that my stock tires are toast.
Your corner speed is ridiculous
You just need more gate drops even if its local. We never see that from you.
that 4 wheeler shouldnt be parked where it is.
Please slow down, you're scaring this slow novice rider.
That’s what Moto is All about Jeffro….Pushing your Absolute Limits….Go Big or Go Home 🤑🦾💥
Some body, some day is going to get tired Deegans disrespectful speeches on the podium and are going to take him out on the track and cost him the win.
Bro what ? Where did that come from
