Paulina fought hard for the song, and it was included on their debut album. She was extremely proud of the song, its message and their ability to comment on societal issues. In this case, Pau was writing about a real life experience that happened close to their neighborhood in Monterrey. The girls argued for quite a while before their folks agreed to have it included on the XXI Century Blood album, but like Pau said, it was a story that needed to be heard. If I remeber right, a newspaper article bout domestic violence/murder inspired them to this song… their mother didn‘t like this topic much, she wanted them to sing about love, rainbows… well, the song is about love though, gone bad… greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘

Their instincts, as usual, served them well. Just imagine a hard rock band named The Peppermints. Very appropriate for a kiddie pop band, which is what a bunch of record labels apparently thought of them as. The Warning is a very appropriate name for a hard rock band.
