I was right by the KEXP tent. it was a great view. This show was extra special to me. Seeing legends of my new hometown (Seattle), paying tribute to legends of my actual hometown (Detroit).
1:59 Little Doll 6:20 T.V. Eye (aka See That Cat) 10:01 I Got A Right 14:16 I Need Somebody 19:20 Down On The Street 26:14 Search & Destroy 30:46 Loose
Wow, how happy am I that I stumbled onto this....they're really playing the hell out of each song, and I love McCready's playing, always have. Great stuff, thanks for posting this gem of a show.
How freaking cool was that? Seattle super group right there. I really wish I could have been there. But at least this show's me what I missed. So good.
When he introduces Martin, but doesn't mention Screaming Trees, I was confused. Then he introduces McKagan and doesn't mention G&R, and by then I got the joke. Arm is punk to the core. Love it.
Actually for a while he didn’t he was using heroin for a good while but fortunately he was able to kick his addiction and become clean before it was too late and took care of himself real well since then, the same can’t be said for Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley and Andy Wood who were all friends of Mark who lost their lives to that damn drug
I just saw him perform in May 2022, and he sounds this good still. Absolutely wild but completely tight and right on every note. Possibly the best concert I have ever been to. Packed room in Chicago. All the fans grown up now and living in a pandemic. It was gorgeous for that, and Mudhoney was spot the hell on.
This performance reminds me of 3 things: 1. The Stooges will forever be the best band this planet has ever produced. 2. Their music should never be played from a rooftop. 3. Seattle "fans" lack energy.
Mark just fucking completely nails this! Mike is just slaying it on guitar as usual. Pity they didn't do 1970/I feel alright. That would have been a scorcher.
Barrett Martin! Love the Screaming Trees and Mad Season
Mark Arm is the king of playing on top of iconic Seattle buildings....
And a Godfather of Grunge
Totally agree space needle , market . Fuck don't be surprised if Elon Musk . Saw Mudhoney and the Meat Puppet last week . Killed it still.
@Alan Smith What does Elon have to do with this?
@@greysnake2903 less than nothing, to be honest
I’m so glad they got Mark to do Iggy pops vocals! Blew me away. This whole band is sensational.
naay, but incredible

Best Stooges tribute supergroup for sure. Mark Arm has the correct swagger to sport Iggy’s shoes nailed down!
Mccready plays like a god..
Seattle is just so rad how the artists support each other. And make the best music!!!! And dear lord, Mike McReady rips!
McCready is a dark guitar god
Fucking McCready melting the faces of the crowd...What a Epic show
KEXP, the radio that makes you cool !
What a great spot for a show. They should do more there.
Duff's without a doubt from what ive seen of him on interviews the most chilled out dude in gnrs
I love watching Mike McCready play guitar. He plays so uninhibited. He should start a side band like this!!
Yes, garage rock.
I was right by the KEXP tent. it was a great view. This show was extra special to me. Seeing legends of my new hometown (Seattle), paying tribute to legends of my actual hometown (Detroit).

What a fucking powerhouse of a performance! Not sure how I missed this nearly a decade late, but better late than never. 🤘
Same. I didn't know McCready could sound like Ron Asheton and James Williamson.
No me puedo creer que esta joya tenga tan pocos likes...🤦🏼♂️
KEXP should release this recording on vinyl during the next fundraiser.
Mike McCready Damn!!
Seen all his solos but first two songs, never heard anything so good by Mike
I take that back...all songs
Oh, is he good here? Usually sucks ass
@@duncefunce1513 Bullshit! Get your head outta your ass.
@@dalibordvanajscak2465 he is outstanding.

+James Matthews i know, right? really disappointed i didn't know about this
Mike f'n Mccready can play the shit out of a guitar.
24:15 I like how he didn't mention Guns or Pearl Jam, the obvious bands...kept it punk.
Didn't mention Mudhoney either
Correct!!!!
When he introduces Martin, but doesn't mention Screaming Trees, I was confused. Then he introduces McKagan and doesn't mention G&R, and by then I got the joke.
Arm is punk to the core. Love it.
How punk is Mark Arm? He's lead singer of Mudhoney/warehouse manager for SubPop. No lounging in a mansion style rocknroller... he's a punk forever.
Yeah, like they need more hype or name recognition. Enough with the hype!
Wow, I'm blown away. Great material, great performance by each guy, great energy. Very special.
Actually, the only one with any energy at all was Mike.
This Shit sounded 10 times better live. I'm a fucking Agoraphobic but I got out of the house for this show. Thanks KEXP
Mike Mcready.....a man dangerously close to the edge
Man, I was worried about that, but he kicked arse off that height!
T.V eye had me foot tapping and me head bobbing. Heavy heavyweights. Doing a stellar performance of the stooges classics and Iggy pop is the GOVERNOR
Damn Mark Arm is almost 60 and still sounds and almost looks just like he did in the early 90s. Dude must have taken good care of himself..

THE STOOGES, the most important rock and roll band of all times motherfuckersss
👏
forget guns, pearl, mud, screaming....... this is music !!!!!! not names whitout substance , great concert .
Amazing performance. What a stage!
Mark did a better job on search and destroy than Eddie Vedder. Pretty cool to see both Mark and Duff at the Gorilla Gardens back in the Day....
Good thing they did this outside... if they did it in a smallish rock club, the whole structure would explode to bits!
KEXP é fera demais, excelente Mark Arm nos vocais, banda competente demais na execução deste clássico do Stooges
Mark Arm for President! Now hes gonna sing in the Saints 1974-1978 lineup. Cool
I can listen to this everyday several times a day!!!
This performance reminds me of 3 things: 1. The Stooges will forever be the best band this planet has ever produced. 2. Their music should never be played from a rooftop. 3. Seattle "fans" lack energy.
They were the most bad-assed band to ever grace the world with their presence
Fukyehh
I like at about 34:00 Duff tells McCready the next chord is B
Beautiful!!! Haha
Thats real cool ! Support KEXP ! Love and respec to Mark / Best wishes from Moscow,Russia
I can't find the words to describe how good it is, unbelievable!!!
What a beautiful performance !!!!
I miss Seattle. I'm a Texan born and raised, but Seattle is my favorite destination.
That was amazing!
Exactly what I expected from that bunch!
Yeah I could almost burst into flames feeling the vibe of the performance alone.
Uno de mis mejores canales musicales!!!!! grandes KEXP!!!
I listen to this video daily!!! I love every song ! Kicked ass!!!
Mark just fucking completely nails this! Mike is just slaying it on guitar as usual.
Pity they didn't do 1970/I feel alright. That would have been a scorcher.
