- HMF YFZ450R XC Racer Project Part 1 The Build Quad Builder Episode 10. ATV on Demand's Quad Builder series premiered on our website back in 2007, resurrected in late 2023 on RUclips with this episode. For this video, HMF reached out to us asking if we could install and evaluate their line of products for the Yamaha YFZ450R.
In this episode we'll update up host Evan Hartzel's YFZ450R cross country race quad, installing an HMF Performance Series exhaust, HMF XC front bumper, HMF grab bar , HMF light blocks, GBC Ground Buster 3 tires and GPS beadlock wheels. The YFZ's appearance was then freshened up with Maxima Bio Wash used for deep cleaning, then capped off with a fresh full custom graphics kit from FTR Powersports.

At the request of host Evan Hartzel, we're happy to bring you the first new episode of Quad Builder in over 15 years! Subscribe for part 2 and more upcoming episodes. We look forward to your questions and comments.
It is awesome to see a brand new episode in the Quad Builder series! New sport ATV content is always great to see and is well appreciated.
More to come.
Awesome video. Xc racing deserves many more videos
Glad you enjoyed it and yes XC racing deserves more videos.
Patiently waiting for the premiere to start. This is awesome. We need some new xc content. Keep em coming please
More to come.
Love the vids
Got another one coming.
When is the 200x video coming out? Super excited to see a continuation of your build series
We finally got out and filmed the test believe it or not. Need to get a interview with our rider And start putting it together.
Anyone else impressed with the sheer amount of sc1 on that shelf lol 😂
🤣🤘
Love a good sport quad i personally ride an 04 dvx geared down a bit for a bit more pop
That's a great machine.
@ATVonDemand I absolutely love it
@ATVonDemand moving up near Kirkland lake to 160 acres right beside a hydro trail can't wait to get up there and adventure with it
@@donaldliverance2597 It sounds a good great time. Always nice to have access to land right on.
To really protect those main frame rails check out the LS4 frame guards i still use the frame guard graffix and run LS4’s guards over them 0 wear on the frame after using them all season they are sweet and come in different colors so you can match your build.
Good tip. We hate frame wear.
Is this like the old videos with Allen Knowles from CT racing? Or am I thinking of a different "series"?
Different series but we're still working with allen. He's been getting a lot of side by side content ready for the other channel. He's got a few cool quad projects in the works though.
This video should have waay more views and interactions in comments. The industry is ruining sport atvs by not producing new models from the other big 3. In California all you can buy is a new raptor. No Kodiak no grizzly no yfz450.
@@morromk7538 Really glad you enjoyed the video. California is communist, no doubt!
I need new plastics for my 2006 yfz 450 se can you help me out
Wish we had some spare sets laying around.
@@ATVonDemand appreciate it bossman I think i might have found some online not sure if they will fit we will find out!
Your rad looks plugged up with mud.
That thing went through a serious mud race before we filmedumb. Don't know if it was clogged but there was still a little lurking in there. If we got through the test with no problem.
