Today, I wanted to share in the excitement with the community and indulge in the incredible spectacle that FS always put on with their trailers - hopefully you enjoy this lite causal look at the trailer ☺️ I am SO excited! 🤩
I love the shot of Miquella's followers at the end and how it looks like they all come from very different backgrounds judging by their armor. During your playthrough, you'll come across a merchant with an item that gives some Miquella lore and you'll see why I find the different backgrounds being so intriguing. I'm anticipating the DLC addressing this and seeing if I'm correct (Sorry for the vagueness, I don't want to give too much away since you're still playing)
Can we please talk about how sick this trailer is in hindsight with the lore we now know? In the beginning it literally shows how Marika became a god; she killed thousands of hornsent in an act of revenge, and used their bodies at the gate of divinity to beckon a god to commune with her, and The Greater Will responded.
I feel the cutscene shows the amount of people sacrificed to seek an audience with the greater will . Looks like a ritual . Somewhat akin to bloodborne in seeking audience with the greatOnes. The bodies the blood and the betrayal. The order was built on blood and lies
