They've done so many it's probably all staged at this point, I mean if anything slightly hints at cheating and you've been pranked like that many a time, wouldn't one of the first thoughts that come to your mind is "is this another prank?". Especially if it's so on the nose like this one.

The reason they don't think it is a prank at first is because they always ask "are you joking seriously" usually several times with the pranking party denying it with their decent acting skills. But the reaction of the pranked party seems more genuine than the acting of the pranking party. I genuinely don't think they stage it. Plus, you can never be 100% sure when it comes to finding out your partner MIGHT have been disloyal. Also they tend to space out pranks/pranks of one type I think so it may be less obvious. Also also, the "making up/revealing it was indeed a prank" part seems VERY genuine if you look at they way they both behave
