Getting those red pieces to disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel pump is proving to be extremely difficult without feeling like excessive force is needed / risk breaking it causing an even bigger problem
Interesting I always thought that you had to remove the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump if it was an internal item. Also no mention of the filter but I guess that was included with a new pump. Great job of thoroughly explaining it to a non-mechanic.
The fuel pump that you linked in description, did not come with a connection on the bottom for the line in the tank, does that mean it won’t work? Because the fuel pump you replaced had that connection at the bottom of the fuel tank. Will I need to return this pump, or will it work somehow? Please get back with me asap, I am supposed to be changing it out in a couple hours.
Replaced pump to 2006 Ford fusion awd it still has same problem. Injectors are fine, but won't read any fuel pressure on rail. Car still start runs and drive with very little power... In gear and in idle it shakes vigorously as well as steering wheel. I'm starting to think fuel pressure regulator but it's usually on or by the rail... I can't find it and I didn't see the fuel pump or housing have one either.
How do you replace the fuel sender on the right side of the tank? My 2008 MKZ AWD has another sender under the cover on the driver side, under the seat.
I just did my daughter’s 2010 Fusion. Really easy. Solved my sputtering problem.
Instructions come with speed and clarity thanks
Great tutorial, quick and to the point. Thank you, brother. God bless you man.
😭 this is so beautiful, I had to cut the floor of my Camaro to get to it but this is so easy it made my day

I would have started the car before refitting the Rear Seat Fuel Pump Cover Plate, just to make sure there's no fuel leaks from the hose connection.
Cambiaré la bomba de gasolina y se que su video me alludara mucho gracias

Best videos ever dude, thanks!
We are debating if you are working on the driver's Side of the back seat or the passenger side of the Back seat??

Thank you, very professional, great tips!!!!
Wow, This I can do myself without a mechanic. lol
I have ford fusion se 2.5 2017, is the fuel pump located in the same place, please
Yes it located in the same place
would the fuel pump on the awd 2012 ford fusion se work on the front wheel drive version??
It could very well work. Make sure they are both a v6, or I4. Even if they’re different engines sizes they could work, I’d call a dealership and ask

Does anyone knows where I’d the fuel pump module? 2010 fusion 3.0
same spot. its the same car
Thanks!
Should say in the title if it's the v6 or 4 cylinder
