Poland is a seriously underrated place to visit. I had to go there for work, had no idea what it was like, but it was one of the cleanest and safest feeling countries I’ve been to and with some amazing pine forest roads.

An ex AA patrolman I knew said he used to get into Cavaliers by sending 12 volts up the reversing light switch wire, then putting a steel ruler in through the drivers door edge and banging the hinge which tripped the crash sensor and released the deadlocks. Probably works for other older stuff too!
the e32 is such a beast, i remember being a mechanics apprentice at a retro bmw specialist back in 2012, they had a bunch of classic bmws in the yard either for parts or selling and there was a e32 (i cant remember which engine) which was parked in the lot since the mid 90s and they put a new battery and fuel in and it started instantly
Being a european courier, I can hand on heart tell you that you will LOVE Poland, its one of my favourite countries to deliver to, lovely scenery, friendly people and its very, very cheap for fuel 😂.

you can also poke a flat bladed screwdriver through a hole in the n/s grill, which will pop the bonnet latch for access to the fuse box, add power to c/l fuse and should be in. Works on most 80/90 BMW's

To unlock the e32 you could of just pulled the drivers door handle up, then turned the key clockwise, then anticlockwise, this manually unlocks just the drivers door! I have a white factory manual e32 735i. Great channel. Thanks guys
If you wedge the brake pedal and keep the brakes pressurized overnight it will eliminate all air bubbles. It absolutely works hard to understand why, saved me on many motorcycles that refused to completely bleed.

That E32 is sweet, incredible that it started so easily after sitting for years. I used to have one the same, from 1989, also with a manual gearbox. I bought it in 2002 so it was fairly old but was a lovely car to drive. Owning it was a bit more of a trail, I quickly came to dread the "bong" sound that accompanier a warning on the display, at least it was easy to work on though. Eagerly looking forward to videos following the work on this one. And a Poland road trip : )
My dad had a factory Oxford green E32 735i manual which he bought from new, back in the day. It was epic, I remember it took forever to be delivered as BMW UK and then BMW Germany apparently sequentially said "....manual? Eh?" and really didn't want to build it. God knows how rare they are.
Don’t break the window of the e32. You can hook up the battery if you just remove the lights for the plates. Charge the battery via the clamp of the Bild till you can unlock it.
I had an E38 740 Sport as a daily driver for 4 years, I absolutely loved that car and still kick myself for selling it. I also did the bilstein B6 conversion and for a big old barge she handled really well. I love this age of BMW and earlier, very jealous of the burgundy E28 you have in the garage. I look forward to seeing the E32 being restored back to its former glory. Great content guys, can't wait for what you have up your sleeves for 2024.
@@FlyasaDiamond A broken spring and some failed suspension components, so when I upgraded the shocks and springs to Bilstein B6 and H&R I did a complete refresh of all the arms and bushes front and rear. It's a big heavy car so expect to do some of that work. The 4.4 l v8 is a solid engine, the only bits that I had to do were the rocker cover gaskets on two occasions as this era of BMW does love an oil leak. Other than that it was just the normal service when it was due. I would have another in a heartbeat and was trawling all the usual websites after watching the video yesterday. Plenty of chav'd up ones out there that have been ruined so avoid them.

I had an e38 740il daily driver a few years ago. Gearbox issues took it off the road so I swapped out the auto box for an e39 m5 box and lsd. Was amazing fun to drive for something that weighs the same as a church.
That bmw is probably having some trouble on one of the abs module valves. If you happen to double press the brake and It improves it's probably that. Try bleeding the module through OBS and if it doesn't fix it new abs module
Definitely DO come to Poland. But maybe not in winter as it looks a bit depressing now. But any other season, Poland is amazing and really worth seeing. Maybe road trip up to the very bottom of the Poland, to drive through Bieszczady mountains? It is really lovely place and the roads are really fun to drive there.
I am from the States and I must say those Woodford trailers look excellent. I have never seen any trailers similar to them here. Now get crack'n on that Poland trip!
You definitely need to do that trip to Poland! You would even have the LPG-System on your car so fuel wouldn't be that expensive! (At least for your car)

I had exactly the same issue with my E90 as Taylor is having with his X5. Sent the ABS unit off to ECUtesting for a rebuild it sorted it completely!

Usual steering column issues with the manifolds and exhaust …bet they had to design some bits just to make it work in a rhd.

So would guess around 0c or 31f for us yankes. Even still in Michigan I'll shovel snow in gym shorts at 14f (-10c). The 7 series road trip needs to be done. I actually flew down to London in August to collect my high mileage e65 730d. Then drove it the 505 miles home the same day. Best decision I've made in years. Absolute bargain and a cracking car....
