Shit dude. You found yourself a fan. Quick easy tips. No blustering. I wish the rest of the government was this efficient.

This just may be the BEST and most TO-THE-POINT video on shooting I've seen. Thank you, Sgt. Shane Coley.

He’s not. He’s on a specialized team that represents the US Army and gets to do a bunch of cool training in a relaxed environment.
I was infantry for 10 years, I got absolutely no formal training on the pistol but was sent to qualify on the pistol 3 times. Just went and did my thing and luckily I qualified. Few MOSs other than Military Police ever get any relevant pistol training.
I’m not complaining, just stating the things I seen.

@chief5981 I was Infantry as well and the AMU trained me. First in Ft Lewis and then again later when I went to Sniper school. There aren't a huge number of those guys so they can't train everyone, but they do indeed spend a lot of time training troops.

I just found you searching 3gun tips in trying to bust into top five. But they are all pro and semi pro sponsored guys. I know I can beat them!

Shooting with iron, grip differently and I'll step into it. Otherwise, spot on.

So why have the slide dragging against your thumbs? What’s the point? A bunch of very highly paid engineers designed the pistol to be held a certain way, and even placed reliefs in the handle for thumb placement. Why not trust those engineers, who spent a long time designing the weapon? Also, it’s a pistol. It SHOULD be fired single handed. Otherwise, just use your shoulder weapon, which is designed to be used two handed. Check out the old WWII films on the subject. Literally millions of soldiers, sailors, and marines relied on that information. It worked for them. We know because we did not lose WWII.

Not disagreeing with you per se, but consider groups such as Delta or the federal Air Marshalls. They have extremely high pistol pistol standards due to the nature of their jobs and they definitely do not walk around clear ships or planes with only one hand on a pistol. Nor, do they just use a rifle simply because “they’ll be using 2 hands anyways”.
