Our school teached us about history and geography of the whole world, in the US they study only US. Why should they care about the others 206 nations in this world, when they believe they're inferior to them?

It rose dramatically in recent decades due to the new barriers for Americans traveling to Canada and Mexico after 9/11. The growing Hispanic population in the US also increased passport usage.
