Haven't dueled since 1.09 but my uncle and I developed a stupidly hard to deal with specialty lvl 33 bowzon based around Kuko and piercing guided arrows, we used to join games like this and bully 90+ chars regularly, people would get sooo mad, and it was so much fun lol! I never did get over that nerf but I can admit in hindsight for duels it was a bit op. GG's all around here, was a blast to watch, using sync glitches and C/T teleporting wasnt a thing way back when I was playing so learned a bit too. Definitely got my sub! Peace

I think it would be much better if we could either... A) See the screen of one of the competitors. B) See two monitor screens of both competitors side by side. C) See the whole battlefield with a higher resolution mod. Easy way to beat a trapsin like this is equipt a widow maker and a fort and make sure you have max light. Charge and guided arrow the crap out of the sin. Gg sin is dead, I'm not sure why no one thought of this the whole match in chat or in game. Smiters are the most power class in the game. No class can completely dominate them. Where you lost is you need highlords, you need Gore's and you need to ber your Widowmaker. Then put on Fortitude as a finishing touch. Literally just go pure bow, if you need the resists put on a kiras.
@fredrik bekkevold I think when you don't take damage from them it would be bm. Dueling is a main reason I no longer duel and play hardcore now. Dueling is d2 is pretty much the same stuff.

Man nobody likes sorc's or ele druids or bvc? would love to see some more diversity in the competitors. I need to decide what my next pvp build is gonna be.
sorcs and bvcs aren't good in pvp because they lose to the top metas. sorcs are just too squishy and considering how easy it is to overstack resists, they do sub-par damage. bvcs can't block and need to get close, which makes them very risky even with 6k+ life pools. wind druids are super good though.
aghhh good old pvp days.. i use ti main foh smite paladin and blizz soso my favorite builds. specially glass cannon sorc. pritty much one hits most of the guys
Perma mind blast from the shadow is the most OP/toxic thing in pvp. Zero skill required. If i could change one thing in D2 pvp it would be removing the shadow's ability to cast mind blast.

@@TrigzOP It's in my tips/tricks video! It's where you hit the "C" or "T" keys to bring up char/skill tree in order to gain some distance on your casts. I actually used footage of Maty's other char as an example of the technique being executed flawlessly.
You shouldn't have removed them when NEC and sin were pking...necs are mana hungry ..and joby didn't use bmanas and from what I understand Matt's assassin had bmanas equipped ...you should have kept the pool going

I guess this is my fault for not listening to the live stream. I can't have surrounding sounds/voices when I play. Anyways, not like it would have ended any prettier regardless, me and Maty rarely duel each other, we normally say we can't because Akara doesn't have enough mana pots for this to happen. I stand by that statement ! lol Hoping for another tournament soon, hopefully a bit sooner so I can participate for the full length. GGs

Mana pots... thats terrible.. try dueling without them, that's where strategy and resource management kicks in
They *are* gm. But we did "remove" them at one point in the spirit of speeding up the duel.
