Yeah I know I had to let it go. It was a bit to Much for me. It would of never been done right and at the time needed the money. I hope to snag another some day maybe a cleaner roller and learn to do my first LS swap on a budget
I've got one for you. 87 runs Ca small rust on wheel well under battery. 35in rancho 4in lift. Runs and drive. Be like vvg come to Cali and drive it back.
I have two questions On your radiator you have the radiator cap a hose that goes to the over flow and the right below that you have a hose where does that hose go? To the heater core? Or a plastic heater valve? Also what is the bottom of the radiator sitting in is it just a rubber pad sitting on the metal or is there a rubber pad sitting inside a c channel piece of metal?
you can get those rebuilt, copper-brass radiators are the best!
I don't know anyone around me that does them
Pull the fan. It'll be easier to in stall the rad. Miss the k5 videos buddy

@mtranchmike8154 yeah I won't be able to afford it then if it's a running driving k5 that's mostly solid haha.

That second hose down from the caps for the heater core. And if I'm correct it was rubber pads on the ends of the rad that it sat in at the bottom.
@@SethsBudgetBuilds thanks for the response so just rubber pads at the bottom thank you so much
@@daveelliott8116Look up the urethane radiator pads. The black rubber gets oil on it and it turns to bubble gum quickly.
@@HectorFabela-m4y thank you I will do that
Hey buddy I have an 86 k10 also and I’m having trouble finding a fan shroud that will fit, any suggestions?
Id say any k10 305 350 fan shroud will work from the 70's on up. Or convert to electric
