Thorn 35 Watt LPS Beta 5

A new addition to my collection of street light luminaries, a recently purchased 1970's designed by and manufactured by Thorn Lighting Beta 5.
This design lasted many years with around 16 variations of the original design, some of the early ones didn't incorporate the control gear, instead that was fitted remotely in the post, later models had all the control gear, Ballast, Power Factor Capacitor, and Igniter all based on the back of the lamp gear tray.
There was a Beta 2 which was running a 55 watt LPS or SOX lamp and later models ran HPS ( High Pressure Sodium ) equivalents using a SON or SON-E lamp or MBFU or Mercury Fluorescent Lamp.
