    I am so glad you 2 are really taking this marriage seriously. My husband and I have been married for 31 yrs and recently I have become bedridden and alot of people have asked him how can you deal with her I would have left her a long time ago. Shows how many people would be married if they were in my case.

    You are so adorable & such a strong girl Hannah, to me from my observation going all the way back to that Bachelorette stuff. Wished I could have seen you on Special Forces. That was no easy encounter 😳. You 2 should be really proud of yourselves ❤. I’m out of a pretty heartbreaking ending of a relationship that I felt was very hopeful. He ran when the feelings got too serious, that whole attachment stuff from a very sad alcoholic abusive mom, communication was not learned there. He went back to a long term abusive relationship, I’m sure of it, because it WAS FAMILIAR stuff to him, whereas our connection made him uneasy. You just validated my thoughts in regard to this.

You may have said it at the beginning, but I want to refer back to this episode and would love if the Dr's name is notated . I want to read more about her. She sounds incredible. Yes, please share more.....thank you!!!! I am single and I still find all of this information invaluable xo

    I love that you both shared this journey. I can relate to you so much. Hannah sharing her anxiety and feeling "crazy" as well as unlovable and a burden is what i work in in therapy. I am grateful you speak so openly about mental health. I feel like we are so similar. I have ADHD as well. Diagnosed at 49. I co-created emotionally unavailable relationships with avoidants with narcissist behaviors that matched my childhood. I have anxious attachment but have done years of personal work to be more towards secure attachment. Im so happy you are bringing light and sharing hope and joy that work and vulnerability can make relationships last and be wonderful. God's love is what i saw today in you two.
    I am a 2 time lymphoma survivor and am not in an emotionally connected relationship. I feel alone but this podcast lifted my spirits. I can see how 2 people with awareness can really shift the dynamics. Thank you for sharing such a positive message. Im so happy for you both! Joy just pure joy!

    Good job. Talk specifics though, in your podcast, is my advice. Therapy is trendy these days and the jargon starts to mean nothing. But when you talk about the curtains etc… that matters and makes it more interesting to listeners.

    People need to realize that angels and demons have a lot to do with relationships and chemistry. So often when you feel “sparks” and “butterflies”, and a strong pull toward someone, it’s just your demons and angels wanting to two to unite so they can challenge you and make you grow. The angels want to bring you up, the demons want to take you down. They test you. These strong pull relationships are educational, but often toxic and involve narcissistic personality types. Most don’t end well. A mature relationship is when it’s not about chemistry, it’s about trust, respect, friendship, common values and love.

    Ask yourself and Adam, "If for some reason gor forbidden became totally reliable for him to lift u out of bed and take you to the bathroom day in and out, would you stay? And if that answer is yes truly, I would stay and be here for anything no matter what.. then that is a relationship you want to keep. If you are going to be in a relationship it's not I'm mad and leaving that is not a relationship

    Jesus is the answer. He fills us with his Holy Spirit and Love. People wander around looking for meaning/love/fulfillment/peace/reassurance etc.. Trying to mend their wounds, looking for root causes for their problems. Jesus is all you need.

      Hannah and Adam are Christians and are rooted in Faith. But that doesn't mean as humans we don't struggle and need help to understand our struggles. Who do you think gave us doctors and medicine? God..and that's just one example.

    • @allietitone9944

      It's healthy and totally ok to need earthly help when you're a Christian. What doesn't work is cohabitation and sex before marriage. The exciting healing journey they're on can only be amplified by purity. You don't have to be a virgin to choose purity.

    Is Adam just a yes man? I get a vibe from him that he just wants to be with Hannah, and will say/do whatever he has to do to be with her and make her happy, but doesn’t really have much of his own personality. Does anyone else feel this?

    Very difficult to understand how she has such low self-esteem. She has a wonderful family; very supportive parents. She's achieved a lot of incredible things, and yet she needs all this therapy.... Wondering if something bad happened to her in very early childhood that she has no memory of?

    • @zumo12476
      @zumo12476 4 месяца назад +4

      Yes, she dives deep into this in her book God bless this mess. There was a very tragic and traumatizing murder in her family as a small child that changed her family and also talked a lot about striving for perfection. I highly recommend it if you want to know about her life.
