I used my S6 everyday for school, work and art. The upgrade was definitely worth it in terms of pen latency and having the larger working area of the S7+. The difference in performance is noticeable and battery life isn't an issue considering how fast the tablet charges and I use the battery protection mode which limits charges to 85%.
Thank you Ive been waiting for this review. Major reason for me upgrading to the S7 plus is the little bit larger screen for using as a mini pc with a slightly larger keyboard and the fact that the samsung s7 keyboard is all magnetic which will actually stay in place. The tab s6 keyboard cover falls off all the time which is annoying esp for the price. So I will be upgrading. Although I like the s6 size better for ebooks.
I prefer the Tab S6 personally, I like the smaller size of it. Probably the biggest issue I have is that there seems to be some scrolling lag beginning to pop up that wasn't there when I bought it. The display looks amazing though.
Watching this on my tab s6. Even though the s7 plus is a beast i dont see a point upgrading if you already have the s6. But good to see Samsung going in the direction with their tabs
Thanks, been checking to see if its worth an upgrade... and No its not. Happy with my 6. Tho I don't mind having a bigger screen, camera flash, and the pen design.
Another great review, many thanks for taking the time to show us the differences! Will you be making any videos on using a Samsung phone together with the tablet? For example many reviewers show an iPhone with the iPad Pro and how they work together - would be great to see the relationship between a Samsung note 10 or other android phone and Samsung tablet, especially for transferring data and photos between the two

Use SamsungDex and you can connect to an external monitor. If you mean connecting it like a Wacom Cintiq where you look at a larger monitor while drawing on the tablet, but you can't turn off the tablet display. This is mirror mode. 12.4 inch display is actually large enough for comfortable drawing so using it like a Cintiq may not have significant advantage.
