My school district had those sensors on the bus that beeped every time a kid or person near the bus. However, it was on a “free trial” period. (My district got them from a distributor). When I started being a bus aide last year, I found out they got rid of the sensors because they didn’t want to pay the subscription! 🤣 That would be nice though.
Clawboss, if you could spec a bus out in ANY way you want if you had unlimited money, what would you choose and do? Ex: IC-CE With cummins, black side rails, chrome wheel covers, etc. Please make a video about this, love the videos! :D
Love your videos I just started driving school buses 4 months ago from being a OTR driver for last 20 years I learned a lot about school buses from your videos 👍 Happy and safe new year to you
Contractors will never get the options, but the few school districts near me that have their own fleet usually options them out. The trade off is they hold on to them longer, up to 25 years.
When I first started driving a school bus in 2016 my first bus was an IC and I liked it but in 2017 we switched to Bluebird Visions personally watching this video I can't say I'd be excited to go back to ICs
As a student I preferred riding on the Thomas FS65. Idk why but I thought they looked cool. I also liked the international 3800 but my school was flooded with them and the Thomas just stood out in a sea of internationals. The downward facing windshield wipers where fascinatingly different and I remember seeing the “Powered by” and then the Mercedes logo at the front when you first got on and I would tell people I was riding on the only Mercedes bus at the school and no one knew what I was talking about😂
Hey ClawBoss, did you see or hear about school bus camper projects where school buses got converted to camper buses known as "skoolies?" Those are fun to watch, I even saw those buses keep their main entrance doors but reconfigured to open and close like RV doors and emergency exit doors used as additional doors and backdoors, I could use the emergency exit door of any kind to load a bike in so I wouldn't need a bike rack.
I have a demo bus with basically all the features in this video and its a really great riding/driving bus. I have a lot of hours on the road with it and I can say there are huge improvements in visibility/quiet ride/ and overall comfort and control.
something I would fix is the locks, I would add lock and unlock for the doors instead of an exterior unlock knob, Also I would add a bus light monitor on the dashboard above the speedometer
Hey Clawboss love your videos I'm jealous of the kids today I graduated in 2002 and remember riding a new bus which finally had heat but sadly no A.C. we also had radio where the bus driver would let us listen to which was cool hope you pick me to win the PS 5 looking forward to watching your next video
One thing they need on a school bus is lane keep assist that beeps at you when you leave your lane. So many drivers without school buses leave their lane, and my personal experience with my bus driver, she always went into the bike lane and sometimes off the road due to not having that feature. This video doesn't mention lane keep assist.
Hello Clawboss - I was just curious is there any chance that you could please do more of them - (international ic-ce)-School Bus POV videos please. Thanks
My district bought all new 2023 ICCEs for the fleet, so the controls are all the same, so every driver knows how to drive the bus and they are the same controls, and I was like why not wait till the 2025 comes out
Hey Clawboss! So, my district has the older ICCE buses. However, they have been recently replacing them with the new Blue Bird gas buses; I personally seem to enjoy them much more than those ICCE’s. Could you please do a review of those buses when you have a moment? I’d like to hear your thoughts! The main reason why I don’t like them is because they are just too loud and the diesel smells awful. :)
Hey brother man, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Here’s to a great New year. Looking forward to more great content. Like I said, have an awesome new year and take care brother. Until next time, peace.
I kinda hate how it looks more like a c2 then a unique design. But I like how they fixed some stuff and made larger capacity but I don’t like the smaller door
Wow… I have to wear out my 2006 International school bus bus before I get one of those… Right now, I have 15000 miles on it.. Staunton City Schools have 31 buses in there fleet… 1 to 33… Numbers 22 and 23 is not in the fleet.. Number 33 is a IC 2023 model and the oldest bus in the fleet number 26 is a 2000 IC model… Number 26 is a spare bus.. Our school district will not get any electric buses right now, but Augusta County has few electric buses..All of our buses are automatic, but Augusta County has a few straight shift buses…On my Virginia CDL license,I can only drive automatic buses..
Hey clawboss I'm a disabled junior student in high school so you don't get confused with a college junior. For the last 8 years my school has had nothing but Thomas C2's the garage had pretty much started using the bluebird's we had as backups. The C2's are nice and all but you can feel the bumps more and I miss the loudness of the bus and the C2's that I've been in have been all too quiet sometimes I would miss my bus same with the newer 2019 IC models so I miss being on the 2007 or 2008 Blue Bird All American. Edit: Thomas C2 wheelchair lifts sucked I got stuck a few times due to all those sensors.
How bout something useful like heads up display , nav, sensors that tell them if kids are near the outside of the bus.
My school district had those sensors on the bus that beeped every time a kid or person near the bus. However, it was on a “free trial” period. (My district got them from a distributor). That they definitely need
Thanks for always trying to keep a positive outlook and always being able to shrug that hate off your shoulders. Proud of you man. Keep pushing ❤

That icce is giving off way to many c2 vibes 😆
Contractors will never get the options, but the few school districts near me that have their own fleet usually options them out. The trade off is they hold on to them longer, up to 25 years.
Well, Clawboss, any improvements on a School Bus is wonderful to me; the last time I rode on a bus to go to school was back in the early 70’s. LOL
When I first started driving a school bus in 2016 my first bus was an IC and I liked it but in 2017 we switched to Bluebird Visions personally watching this video I can't say I'd be excited to go back to ICs

Always love your content bud! Keep on keeping on!
something I would fix is the locks, I would add lock and unlock for the doors instead of an exterior unlock knob, Also I would add a bus light monitor on the dashboard above the speedometer
Bro keep on making these great videos
Overall it seems nice. It is an improvement over the old IC CE.
I love this brand new bus model. It looks fantastic!
i cant wait to actually see these out on the roads.
The "companies aren't going to buy that"
I felt that in my soul... 😅
Its awesome. Parking brake is amazing. I could not hear what the person was saying since you were interrupting him.

Who loves claw boss? Kel loves clawboss
Count this as my PS5 entry. Also huge respect for driving in central Jersey as your job. Absolutely sucks up there.
My favorite bus is the Freightliner FS-65
😮WOAH!! THAT BRAND NEW BUS FROM 2024 IT'S WAY DIFFERENT CURRENT BUSES AND OLDER BUSES!!😮
Hello Clawboss - I was just curious is there any chance that you could please do more of them - (international ic-ce)-School Bus POV videos please. Thanks
Such a niche thing. I don't know why I think school buses are cool, but thanks for what you do.
My district bought all new 2023 ICCEs for the fleet, so the controls are all the same, so every driver knows how to drive the bus and they are the same controls, and I was like why not wait till the 2025 comes out
I love seeing your uploads clawboss! Greetings from Iowa!
They should still make the 2nd gen ICCE as a special edition they look much more sharp and newer the 3rd gen in my opinion
Who else loves Clawboss videos?
keep the good content coming winming would be a serious blessing
Commenting for algorithm and the ps5 entry 🙏❤️
And to answer your final question.. I like it. Except I still don't know how much they'd gain from 4 inches in the seating section..
I wish I had gotten to drive on an American school bus. Seems awesome
I’m intrigued by your videos. I’m a high school teacher.
I love riding this kind of buses
Glad to see back and I hope your doing well
Looks nicer than my bus
I love the vids
A/C being standard is amazing!
it’s funny actually bc my school districts bus company only bought icce buses they did not buy any thomas c2’s as far as ik of
They need to bring back the big bus doors.
Love your vids clawsboss hope you can pursue your dreams of RUclips
Keep up the good work man
I’m surprised I didn’t put overhead racks on the bus like they used to.
The dash and hood look to be the only differences that i see.
the drivers dash looks nice
And im sure the one they showed is the top tier one to get with all bells n whistles.

Thanks for great commentary.
Keep it up man. Hopefully you can drive one soon.
Hey clawboss, just wanna say love the vids keep it up! And I would love to win the PS5 because my mom could not afford one for Christmas this year.
Love the videos keep up the good work
Hey brother man, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Here’s to a great New year. Looking forward to more great content. Like I said, have an awesome new year and take care brother.
Until next time, peace.
Happy new year 2024
I would agree with you, the outer welding/riveting looks cheap.
In my area we buy Blue Birds and we stay away from IC/Navistar seeing their quality is way behind what Blue Bird brings to the table.
Heyo liked almost every vid
Its a pretty cool bus ngl
Sick vid boss
dose look like cool but i have feeling lot company's are not going to buy the bus but i do like the concept
I love ic buses ngl
My only gripe is that the guy said optional led headlights… make it standard led headlights… your incandescent bulbs suck after driving one with leds
IC CE this IC CE that IC CE everything
I kinda hate how it looks more like a c2 then a unique design. But I like how they fixed some stuff and made larger capacity but I don’t like the smaller door
I also hate the new shifter I like more physically shifting and park it brake
keep the grind
Love the videos

Looks like an ordinary School bus to me...
I’m Subscribed to your channel
I hope you have a better nee year
How are you doing ClawBoss im a brand new subscriber for you
I personally don't like the new changes, guess I'm kinda old school but some feathers like the dash is okay
Lezz freaking go i ride a 2022 ce but ists cool
I subscribed and liked the video
your the best i live the vids
Love the bus vids
I’m curious to know when there going to come up with self driving school buses
I’d love to see a tour if and when you can get one
I feel like all vehicles should come standard with blind spot detection
What do you like about the new bus what in 2024
i like the new bus
Looks great
Man just go back to the Thomas built buses and the blue bird international when buses where simple…
My county is full of incompetent school bus drivers, and the "standard AC" is driver AC.
Passenger AC is not standard.
I hope the intelipark thing will automatically turn on if the driver is not wearing their seatbelt.
I need to hear one person to talk and the other to listen while the person is talking
This is very cool.
I foresee the interior LED lights being insect attracted
My bus driver didn't like the placement of the parking brake
Nice vid
My district has ic ce buses but not new style yet
I would love a Ps 5 because i dont have any consoles no nintendo no x box no ps 4 or 5 ):
Where's the TV at?
cant wait

It’s okay but it looks like the c2 but the door is to small
It will take me awhile to get used to this design
Woah ps5 giveaway??
Yay
