  • After owning the DeWALTs 60 volt (DCS7485) compact table saw for 2 years we thought it was time to review it. The DeWALT cordless table saw has been pretty excellent but we had to figure out why the blade wouldn’t lower the entire way in this video. Easy fix though.

Like your narration style. You sound like a “no-nonsense guy”.
    Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate the feed back. When we do tool reviews I try to give a honest assessment the way I would want to hear it. Thanks

I love that saw also, I bought 3 of them last year. 2 of them have stands with the quick release brackets on them. I must say the stand is awesome. I have not used my 10 Electric DeWalt saw since I got the FlexVolt. Nice Setup in your Van

    Thank you buddy, great video!
And it's a great saw for whoever is using it and doesn't have electricity on site. But if I have a choice I am all the way for the one with the cord DWE7492 which is more stable and powerful.
    Peace and love from Romania!

very good video. Thank you for thinking of us viewers and getting the angles so we could see what you were doing. I'd love to see you and other contractors tinker and fix their stuff while reviewing. btw i think dry lube or silicone would probably be a better option for lubrication.

Dry lube would have been perfect. Appreciate the comment.

If you saw and rip a lot of pine it always a good idea to blow the saw off good with your compressor and a good blow nozzle.lubrication helps.

We mainly fit kitchens etc in the UK. First used a DeWalt table saw in the U.S. working with American carpenters and loved it. You guys work hard, and expect the same from your gear. Slackers won’t make it.

I have the same issue with the saw dust… i clean mine out with dust collection running and air while running the saw…. I’ve never opened it to clean anything out.

    • @campbellbuilt
      @campbellbuilt  Год назад

Most likely if a dust collector was always used this wouldn’t happen. However, we cut a lot of treated (Fairly wet wood) and that might add to things getting hung up. Appreciate the comment.

Have you guys gotten the 15 amp battery yet? I've been wanting to buy this exact table saw and seen another guy on youtube force pushing wood through it and complaining about the blade getting pinched, but here you demonstrated that if you are not brutal with it, it will do its job and do it well. Thank you also for the extra cleaning tip for the blade area.

I’ve looked at the 15 amp and tried ordering them awhile back but they were unavailable. Just checked and the 15 amp is on sale everywhere at 249.00 late nov 2022. The 12 amp pre order is finally here and most likely is what we will be going to go with. If you understand the limitations of this saw you will be happy. I hate cords period and that’s why I love this saw😀.

@Confident Home Solutions same here, I'm not a big fan of power Cords and I like that with the dewalt tools I currently have I can use them anywhere with those 20/60 volt flex batteries. Thanks again for your kind reply and for those care tips on the table saw. 🙏🙇‍♂️

I don't like the amount of turns needed to raise and lower blade.

    Try Graphite, not Grease

That’s an excellent idea. I had my hands on my graphite container yesterday so you know I’m going to be trying it.
