Hi Peter, Your videos have helped me a lot. thank you. Also, could you please explain the ready, didn't run, and canceled statuses in batch jobs? Thanks in advance.
When you first set up your job by clicking on the menu item, click on the “recurrence” button and that will let you specify the start time of the first run, and specify when the job should run ago. Such as once a day or once an hour. Afterwards, go to system administration>batch jobs. And in the grid you can see the next start time of each job.
Entity refresh batch job is in "executing" from 5 hours which will usually takes 1/2 hour to change to "ended" stage. can you please help how to fix this?
Can you explain a bit more? Are you saying it takes half an hour to cancel the executing batch job? Or are you saying the job is executing for 5 hours before finishing and changing to an ‘ended’ status?
@@peterramer Thanks for reply🥰🥰... Issue solved peter, the batch job went into deadlock so it is executing... Deadlock issue fixed then the job is execiting without any issues
The best tutorial on D365 so far! Thank you
