What is the difference between good and evil? Perspective. It's easy to present person as good or evil by presenting him in specific light. Is a person who plans 3 murders and manipulates a person into commiting them evil? Is someone trying to save 12 year old girl's life good? When there is a war, soldiers from both sides fight kill, and die for something they believe in. Every soldier considers his own side good, and opposing side evil. Lelouch isn't any different, he tried to pursue a noble goal of ending tyranny and giving people freedom, but his path was through blood, not only villians but also many good, honest people, those who fought for him, those who fought against him, and those who had misfortune of being at wrong place at wrong time. He may easily onsidered both good and evil depending on from which perspective you look at him. He's ruthless, pragmatic and manipulative, but also honorable, charismatic, and caring when it comes to his men, or those close to him.He's a person ready for anything to achieve his goal, but at the same time someone who will not be any more evil than nessecary. And the fact that he's so debatable is one of the things that make him so great.
Good and Evil are moral values that are bendable and inconsistent. They are judged by the people as a whole but never properly agreed on. The person who can see past good and Evil, see past it entirely, and act accordingly is typically the one who can make the most progress in the shortest amount of time. These people are called "nihilists", and ironically people have almost no trouble seeing from their perspective if they're given an opportunity.

I believe lelouch was the better character because, although light started what he started for the good of all he, unlike lelouch lost sight of his ultimate objective and to be blunt, went completely bat shit insane.
Light's character is the personification of the idiom "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"; Lelouch is to a degree, but he manages to maintain the slightest of grasps on his ideals (he nearly looses sight of them a few times though).
He went "insane" to make all of the hatred in the world rest on his shoulders, and then bring it all to the grave, his main objective was never lost because now his sister can now live in a more peaceful world, thats why he betrayed everyone so that he would be the only thing for people to hate

If their roles were reversed Lelouch wouldn't have made Kira's first mistake, and i'm pretty sure he would have won.
the crime rate dropped so what Light did achieved his goal light is just so hated because most of the people getting in his way are "good people" like the police forces and his father meanwhile lelouch enemies, even his family members are all dicks so he is easier to root for

Be another Anime Character with as much impact as Lelouch has, maybe not the type of impact that makes everyone in the world know about Code Geass, but the impact to hit and impact everyone who knows his story. And he is kicking butt even now, in Lelouch of the Ressurection. And some future stuff, but I think his original crusade will always be his top time that he shined. But if he comehow, SOMEHOW outdoes himself, I can see it happening
I still don't understand how people think he's flawed. He is one of the smartest main characters I've ever seen. Also, I believe he is a good guy. Everyone has a dark side, including heroes.
it seemed like a lot of the same or similar clips were repeated, especially towards the middle. Other than that, I seriously cannot cone up with anything bad to say about this...timing and everything was perfect, and u used great effects! And I like that part you added in where they were all chanting, "zero! Zero!" this was epic 5 stars^_^

His flaw is in his confliction. During the series he brings up the idea of himself lying to everyone a lot. He lies to get what he want and generally loves the results, his laughing fits are from the thrill of victory not some quasi-kira moment. He hates how his actions can hurt people but he tries to ignore that in the face of his goals, only untill its forced in his face does he have to deal with it. He is an anti hero archetype with a troubled hero overlay

Lelouch couldn't have gotten the seal from his father, because at that point, it was JUST spreading to his other eye, which is the final stage of the geass. This was only after he commanded the collective conciousness in C's World not to carry out his father's wishes.

Pointing towards this is Charles obeying lelouch's order to die the first time. but i'll admit, that could just be him being theatrical. also i believe i recall (its been a while so i could be wrong) that in C2's flashback, she had geass in her eye while covered in the nuns blood, implying she still had it. but idk if thats right. also he got his code from someone other than the girl he made a contract...

Even near the end when the boy with geass who was pretending to be his brother died.
