Hank sn John- i am so enjoying your poidcast. I dearly wish I had this resource during my 10 years of teaching Gospel Doctrine classes. You guys are adding a whole new layer of understanding to the set of scriptures that I have always found the most difficult to relate to. John- in an early podcast I think I saw a set of model airplanes of the fast mover variety on your book shelf. Having flown fighters for 25 years in the AF, it made me wonder if you too have an interest (read obsession) with that type of aviation. Cheers to you both. Oh please continue with these podcasts! I love your very informed guests! I have learned so much and in these few short weeks have come to absolutely love all the players in early church history...even those who haven't always been considered as faithful as they could have been. Learning their stories gives a better insight into their challenges that defined their choices and helps me try to remember everyone has a story that may not be fully exposed.
One of the matters that comes up by the anti Christ is about the support that our leaders get. But if one examines the position that they hold, then they would realize that they are full time missionaries, and therefore are supported.
I am impressed that you continue to come up with such wonderful guests that provide interesting perspectives, inciteful knowledge and powerful testimonies. I really like the ineraction of 2 great hosts with the guest. I told my neighbor about Follow Him and she conveyed to me recently she is hooked.
On the principle of common consent, the question that would come to my mind if I were working close to Joseph in that day would be: what exactly did the Lord mean when he directed that ALL things should be done by common consent? I mean there would be a lot of decisions that the prophet would have to make without getting a common consent vote from the members. It’s clear now that callings and ordinations are specifically what are done by common consent.

Just my own opinion. I like the exuberant manner Hank is inclined to practice. He seems excited about the gospel and he excites me in the gospel as well. It is a great show. I wonder if another podcast would fit you better. In any case please know that what might annoy you others are attracted to it.
If you don't have something nice to say, why do you need to say anything at all? We love you, Mary, but please try to ONLY LIFT AND BUILD with your comments. There is enough nauseating, debilitating negativity on social media and in our lives right now. Let's not let it creep into and infect the platform we all come to in order to escape it. Please🙏
