- FINALLY I get to show more of magical Poland with my loved ones! Taking them from Kraków to the mountains. Tatra mountains, Pieniny National Park, Niedzica. I have to share with them this stunning country. They are experiencing how I feel here. It's very special. Szczerze to zwiedziłem niemal całą zachodnią Europę i mogę powiedzieć , że jedynie Holandia jest równie piękna mimo braku gór.
Jest płaska i nudna Tylko miasta nadrabiają.Chyba że tylko to ogladasz.

Mówię o naturze.Holandia jest depresyjnie płaska i mało zróżnicowana,mam na to alergię. Żadna impreza ,festiwal czy inny event nie zastąpi mi pięknej natury, której tam jest niewiele.

Having spent over 20 years living in the West, I miss my one and only Poland.
I left it when in my early twenties, seeing no future nor prospects in the country.
In the last few years Poland has changed remarkably for the better and hopefully it will stay this way. I really am longing for the days when I am back with my family...back at the only place I will regard as home :)
Ja też spędziłem sporo lat za granicą z powodu braku możliwości rozwiązania problemów osobistych i finansowych. Lata 90-te były tragicznie beznadziejne. Rozwalanie gospodarki, zaprojektowane wysokie bezrobocie, aby z nas uczynić rezerwuar taniej siły roboczej. Pozbycie się 2 milionów najbardziej energicznych i przedsiębiorczych ludzi, którzy musieli szukać pracy za granicą. Dopiero ostatnie lata przyniosły poprawę, chociaż jestem już za stary, aby z tego skorzystać. A Polska pięknieje w oczach. Uświadomiłem sobie, że to jest moje miejsce na Ziemi. Kocham Polskę!

I stayed 2 weeks in Szczawnica in sanatorium because of health problems many years ago. It was over 20 years ago. They took great care of me there and I had to drink special, medical, mineral water every day. For the first 3 days I hated the taste of it but afterwards I started to like it. When I left the sanatorium I didn’t fall ill for the next 7-8 years, didn’t even catch cold. I think I’ll have to visit Szczawnica again. Have you tried the water?

Piękne miejsca, byłem tam wiele razy. Trzeba jeszcze zajrzeć na Trzy Korony, do zamku w Niedzicy, na zaporę tuż obok niego, spłynąć Dunajcem .Jest tam wiele pięknych miejsc😊
Holendrzy są najwyraźniej zafascynowani górami:-) To piękne, że pokochała Pani Polskę, a smutne, że wielu Polaków nie umie jej tak pokochać jak Pani. Gość w dom, Bóg w dom. Proszę się czuć jak u siebie:-)

What a fantastic breakfast Goitske and Eke prepared for you on the last morning of your stay (thanks for posting the link to their excellent website). Dear 'Gosia' presented it with such a heartwarming pride and charm! But it is obvious to me that this spectacular set of yummy dishes would not have been created and so wonderfully served without Eke's hard work and dedication. He and Gosia complement each other so beautifully.🙂
And what can I say about the beauty of Szczawnica and Pieniny? These places are simply magical regardless of the year's season. And owing to your efforts and excellent film making skills I was able to see them in autumn, winter and now in late spring. What a joy - thank you dear from the bottom of my heart. I wish your mom a great raft ride on Dunajec together with you next time she visits Szczawnica.🙂

I invite you to the small town of Wilamowice, Wymysoü, Wilmesau in Silesia. This is a settlement also founded, among others, by settlers from the Netherlands, and their descendants live here to this day.

That is Pieniny National Park, where I wanted to take you and your Indian friends! It is stunning 😀
5:14 Just a few hundred meters away, on the other side of the river, is a little wooden shelter and the beginning of the (gentle!) approach to Sokolica Mountain. And from the top of this mountain you can see a breathtaking view of the river meandering among the mountains at the bottom of a several-hundred-meter precipice!

@@thewritingtraveler A must! Interesting fact: you'll be transported across the river by a highlander in his boat. It costs 4 zl. You have to call him. The phone number hangs in the shelters on both banks of the river.
An alternative is to climb Sokolica Mountain from Krościenko. A slightly more difficult trail. The forests themselves along the way are insanely beautiful.
