I really like the black and white image you shot Tom. I think hard textures like stones and rocks seem to contrast really well against a long exposure sky :-)

Landscape colored version is my favorite. I recently started to prefer ND filters over bracketing.

Hey Tom. Really appreciate your great work. Your videos are a great source of knowledge for a beginner like me. Just wanted to ask you what would be a good filter system mount for a wide angle lens especially for an 82 diameter used with a crop sensor. I know there is the vignetting problem when going wide, maybe you can shed some light over this. Again, thanks for the great work!

Hi Toma, very good video, I’ve been searching the net for how best to combine filters and I’m glad I found the explanation on your channel, although still not very clear to me how to read correct exposure when you have half of the picture without filter and half with the 3 stops grad ND (but this is mostly due to lack of practice, I guess, since I only own a 10 stop ND, not grad). May I ask, where in Romania did you find this marvelous rock formation? Thank you!

Does it come with that that bracket or should we have to extra for it ?

Unfortunately I don't have the filters and I do bracketing and then either blend the images and/or apply a gradient filter in Camera Raw of Photoshop. One problem I encountered with the post processing is when on the sky there are trees that juxtapose, and they move a bit, it is very hard to blend the images around those trees, without creating a lot of artifacts.
By the way next week I travel to Romania to visit my parents, and I am curious where is that spot you photographed.
    O sa stau in Cluj.
    Numa' bine iti doresc.

Very rarely ever used my 3 stop grad. Film is so great, it's amazing with highlights.
If you want to do a long exposure, don't bother using a ND grad, the more filters, the worse IQ. Instead, use a 4x5 with a film with bad reciprocity failure.
