Ami is a graduate of the programme and now studies History and she has volunteered to resit one of her Foundation Year interviews focused on objects to give applicants an idea of what to expect.
Open to UK residents, the Foundation Year is designed for talented students who had been prevented from going to university due to adverse circumstances, such as being in care, homelessness, severe illness or other hardships.
The course is designed to be a stepping stone to undergraduate study in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Cambridge.
Free and fully-funded, students will live and study in Cambridge at a College during the course. Applicants must meet strict eligibility criteria as well as academic entry requirements. If this is you, you must apply by 6pm on 29 January.
