This run is now NMG+, meaning it uses the NMG ruleset, but allows the T2T trick at 0:20

A cool run with some nice tech, that spinboost-to-slide combo seemed like a pain to pull off, but this not being considered a major glitch due to a technicality seems wrong imo. It's a good run, but I feel like this kind of skip turns No Major Glitch runs into _Some_ Major Glitch runs.
the slide isn't really part of the strat, it just helped me out on this specific attempt and saved me from restarting.
Warps cumulatively save more time than these huge jumps in most tracks. Those are a lot less of a spectacle in runs, so I think people pay less attention to it...
That being said, I think the future of these tricks will be more limited than this. Specifically, I think the trick will require landing normally on the track in order to not be considered a major glitch. (All known instances of this trick still save time with this restriction in place, just not as much)
The rules will most likely be discussed over the next few days, so this is just my speculation and should not be taken as official word
@@kelecat7094 would definitely be happy with a change like that. t2t skips definitely have a place in runs, especially because how flashy they are, so I'd hate to see them become de facto wormholes for NMG runs.
edit: looking at the addition of nmg+, I don't think that was a very good change. I don't think people (including myself) had a problem with t2t skips themselves, rather the selectwarp that made it act as a wormhole with an asterisk. I think the best change would be to allow them on NMG, but force them to land in order for them to not be considered a wormhole.
@Bickster Here's the definition of NMG+ from speedrun.com:
This category is the same as NMG but allows Ruthless Big Skip, and Happiness Big Skip. Tracks other than these have no changes and therefore cannot be submitted to this category.
T2T skips are as a whole permitted, but due to the sheer scale of the skips in Ruthless and Happiness, they're relegated to a specific category.
Conveniently, none of the other skips in the entire mountain are better with warps. I figure if another small skip with a warp was found, it would be permitted since it's not as big. I'm not personally sure where the cutoff point between NMG and NMG+ lies, but we (moderator team) will be reviewing the skips as they're discovered to decide NMG/NMG+
That skip at the beginning should show how long you actually fall back on the course please!

Back then I used cheats to give my rider mode edging cause I thought it was impossible, but I guess Kele just proved it was possible hehe

It's now a new category. It's nearly NMG, so it's just "NMG+". The semi-wormhole falls under the 'plus', so classic NMG is unchanged
