around last year i told my corpmates the same idea and they did not like it. "To easy to counter" they said, well if we set it up like dorks it might be, and the tackle Puni was also a thing i had in mind, glad to see it actually can work
Works very well with nados and a tanky prophecy. Load the correct ammo type and pew. You don’t even need cloak just get a spot right outa scan range.

if you manually set dscan range to be closer than the entrance gate you can scan them on their way in and decloak early

A lone Punisher in a system with other people is the biggest red flag. I don’t get how people haven’t figured this out

I had an idea to do something similar with a Panther.
Park it 100+ km away from an open site.
Decloak (no targeting delay on blops ships) and then alpha frigs with large arty splat guns. If you stay aligned to something you can warp of if it's bait.
Don't know if it's viable though 🤔
It's something I'd like to try myself. I saw a guy doing this in pochven. He was 3rd partying, blappind dictors. Looked fun
@@EVEILOnline I used to do this years ago in null because at that time the Panther had the highest cloaked speed buff and the alpha range on 1400's was bonkers. You could only ever one-shot either stationary frigates on gate camps, or up to desty size if they were stupid enough to MWD directly towards me :)

Cheesey. Just grab a ship and engage them - a lot of FW pilots are up for a good fight, theres no need to be so cheesy. Its like youve learned to suckerpunch a toddler...
What's your dps/alpha with your skills? I'm not trained in many gunnery skills so just curious to the damage difference I'd have if i were to get them all to 4 to this week.
With my skills I'm getting 126.8dps, 347alpha. I think I'm just missing small railgun specialization V o7

@@Stygiophobic should be able to do p. much the same in a corax fitted for range - disadvantage will be the missile flight time, so no instant damage and therefore higher chance of your targets warping out, advantage is higher alpha though

Can you reccomend a Medium sized ship with 300km+ attack and targeting range fit😅 kinda want to solo a Vital core reservoir and couldn't find a fit for that
I was just messing around and it seems like you can't get lock range above 300km in subcaps... which means you'll still be in range of the npc's. I wouldn't recommend trying this lol

I considered it, but their price is too high for the benefit I'd get with sniping. Maybe I'll upgrade in future and take on some advanced sites
Can you run this with missiles on a corax?
Sure, but your missiles will have a flight time, so expect a 6-7second delay between launching and actually dealing any damage. This fit gets you up to 70km range (I'd keep at 60km though, not all your missiles will reach 70km). Keep in mind if the target is flying away from you, the missiles will have to travel further too.

why did Aura say your security status would be lowered? does that happen in FW??? I thought the whole point was to pvp the other factions freely... why would they punish players with dropping their sec stat? or am I missing something (probably)
If you're enlisted into faction warfare, you can freely shoot the enemy factions. I'm not enlisted though, so shooting other players is just piracy on my part

You talk about friends multiple times like its easy to make friends in eve.... I've been a pilot on and off for the last four years. I have 20 mill sp on my main and ten or fifteen on my second account and i have yet to EVER fly with another person.... Why is it so hard to find people to fly with?!?!?!?!🤔
Have you joined a corp? Finding a corp that fits with your preferred activities is probably the best way
@@EVEILOnline I am in a corp, but it’s been the same one since I started playing basically….. very little active members anymore with most being months since last online. I guess I just need to find an active corp…. Easier said than done these days…. Doesn’t seem like too many people play this game anymore and if they are you better have 100 million plus sp just to fly with them….
@@Christoph.403 Try joining different corps until you find one that fits. The eve forums are a good place to read recruitment posts to get an idea of what activities a corp focuses on
