I'm not sure if you're aware, but albums are something people are collecting now, and people still play them. before you give them a sweet deal, make sure you go thru them as some of them can be worth substantial money !!!!
I made a mistake selling my parents' collection and found out after that I was an idiot and out lots of money.

Vinyls are making a comeback . On the outside wall of living room , what if you hung some canvas drop clothes to keep out some of the dust and then when you build the house . you could use them to wrap up things, You could roll them up like roman shades . You'll are killing it .

I saw a great looking wall covered in record albums. They hung the albums by a nail run through the center hole and the jackets were hung with upholstery tacks.

I freeze coke bottles are any kind of plastic bottles full of water, and when frozen, I set them in front of fans. Our Ac is not working well this year. The ice bottles help a little. I watch yall all the time. I can't wait to see what yall do next. Keep up the great work. Be safe!

To have as much work done in this heat give yourself a break we do the same in Australia get up early as soon as the sun is up then late afternoon do a bit more it's the only way to handle this heat

from snow thaw to snow fall we cooked at our outdoor kitchen . with that and 3 fire places in our house we cut and stacked 15 cord of wood a year. of course we were on the sores of Lake Erie in the snow belt. anything the size of our wrist was stacked and dryed for next year. dry your wood at least 6 months for better efficiancy and cleaner burning.
You both are working so hard. Please take a break and enjoy the weekend. 😊
What works for me is take a bungee wrap around the trunk a drag them with four wheeler to burn pile. If 4 wheeler runs. That way u can move a lot close to burn pile.

Need to mount a fan low blowing in from a shade spot outside,then on opposite end of ban mount 1 up high blowing out to suck the hot air out,and creating a cross breeze.the big 5 blade fans with a hard patch on the blades move more air. Like the big caged shop fans.

My husband stole a few totes full of albums (quite a few sets) from my attic they were mine from when I was a kid and some were my Mothers. He sold them to some woman he worked with for $35, some of them were only printed on 1 side and worth a whole lot more money. Some people just dont know boundaries, he would never tell me who so I could get them back. Just because your married does not give you a right to sell your partners things just because they are stored (did not have a record player at the time so I stored them)

Place is looking good you can put some of those totes and make it like a coffee table then when you're sitting on your sofa you can rest your feet on it if you wanted to put some next to your sofa and it would be like end tables this way you don't have to put all those totes up high just a suggestion🙂👍🇺🇸✌💯🎉🎉

We actually know them they moved real close to where we used to live. The town they are dealing with is on our way to Cedar Key Florida. They borrowed my trailer when they cleared the school house lol

Man, Gary. Breaks my heart over the Albums. I have around 5000 I am still holding on too. I have a closet full of them but never play them anymore. Over 40 years of collecting them. If I could find a good Bang & Olufsen turntable and a good needle at a fair price I think I would put them back in rotation. Nothing beats vinyl on a superb turntable and stylus. Hope the heat didn't warp any of them. ❤❤
Most of the more modern turntables are better quality than the older stuff.
Technology has improved.
I still have my top quality pioneer turntable wi/h all the adjustments...and one big tote of my classic Rock and Roll stuff.
There are as many good record stores as there ever were. There is a record store in Helena AR that I ran into Robert Plant while we were both looking for old blues platters. He's a very nice man and we chatted about an hour while searching thru the racks of Antiques.
I lived a few blocks from the only distributor in Little Rock and Mike (manager would clue me as to what was coming in. I'd be there Tuesday morning for the delivery. I bought the first FREE(turned into Bad Company) album EVER sold in Arkansas, back in the day.
I loaned it to a garage band that I was running lights for, and they were playing all the songs before most ever hit the radio...I never got that album back.
I've got great stories from late 60's thru 70's while running with Sweet, sweet Connie Hamzy...she was a fun girl.
@GBuds_RVremodel you could be right, I haven't tried anything new because the last new turntable I bought was in the 90s and it sucked. Technics. Then I found a Bang and Olufsen linear tracking one at a pawn shop. Thing was HEAVY. Almost like an amp. But I never had such beautiful sound. Used it for years until it went crazy on tracking. No one in West Texas would touch it for repair. Thanks, maybe I will look into a new one. Give me some brands and models that are good if you would.

Suggestions #1:. Check with David,"C'mon,"about his BIG FAN on a tall stand. It would be great for the barn.
Suggestion #2:Build a room attached to the camper in the barn. Put the wood burning stove in it. Opening to camper help with heating the camper, and yall have the sane place you to socaiize.
I was thinking some similar, wall off the living and kitchen quarters and place a wood stove.

Hi all wanted to tell ya in this hot heated weather ya need to put your garden hose in one of those hose boxed they will bubble up due to the high temp I got so lucky and found a like new on for 3 bucks at thrift store sorry about the weed machine it sure work very hard and alot on yoyr property but sound dangerous

Lots of work moving at the best of times, but moving to overgrown property has that much more challenges, it is like eating an elephant , one mouthfull at a time, looking nice. Once you get doors built to keep other kritters out and feel it will also help keep that extreme heat out so the fans can handle cooling better, and your animals will be safe when you are off the property for a few hours. Keep on keeping on!!

Oh honey some of those records could be worth a lot of money especially if the album covers are still in good shape I sold one album for $500 not that long ago

I returned Troy Bilt wheeled trimmer and got my refund and ordered a Toro. Since those are not cheap am hoping the Toro is good. Did get the 2 year extended warranty that comes into effect when the manufactures warranty goes away. So glad you mentioned the brand as I saw them, and they were cheaper.
I think your refrigerator is not good there as the sun is coming through by there cant it go further up in the corner out of the sun it’s going to over heat there I think you are both doing amazing you have done so much stay safe ❤️👍
