    I like your emphasis on becoming a better naturalist to become a better photographer. Being a photographer got me into be a naturalist and I am richer for it. Keep up the good work!

    Really excellent tips. I especially like your idea of scouting the area.
    Once you get to learn an area and combine that with knowledge of your wildlife subject makes for some interesting experiences.
    One bonus of learning the habits of several wildlife subjects is they can help you locate others. For me this is learning the calls of American Crows, Red Squirrels, and Black-capped Chickadees in my area. All are quite common and have helped locate Barred Owls, Hawks, Eagles, Red Foxes, Raccoons, and others. :)

      Thanks for watching! Being able to listen to an identify what the animals in the forest are saying is a really great skill and definitely one of the best ways to find predators like you mentioned! Happy shooting!
