I tested a couple of different add ons to the idea and found that when you are doing it to your own hair it can be difficult to not have 'stragglers' when pulling the center knot through. I fixed that problem by braiding the center bit before pulling it through the top. I would recommend a box braid (4 strands) to make it lay more flat but normal braids work as well. This is a real trick and it works!

Angela Palomar Sure! What is giving you the most trouble? To start with, make sure you don't get too much hair in the initial ponytail--and make sure to use some product on the hair that will be in the bow.....hairspray, gel, etc. Let me know what's the hardest and I will try to help!
