There is one almost exactly like this at Igartubeiti Baserria in the Basque Country. I was amazed by its size, but this one does seem bigger! It's interesting to see that the Swiss and the Basques used the same kind of press around the same time
I am from south India and I learned about cider press from the novel 'The Cider House Rules' by 'John Irving'. This press was amazing. Btw the novel was amazing too.

There's one of these in the UK at bicton botanical gardens. Looks similar in scale but not restored or functional
My parents used to buy cider there at the Hauenstein farm on IN-16 near IN-5... Good stuff!
