Why are astronomers on the hunt for Dyson Spheres

I think they are life on other planets. But I dont think they would have to look like us. One thing I do know is God put them there if they are life out there

Tell me all the evidence you have for this "god" thing existing anywhere. Just the evidence, not your emotions. We have stronger evidence for the existence of aliens elsewhere in the universe than there is for a god, anywhere.
