God I miss my SS1! Your demo is - as always - excellent, I just love how those same tones and sounds that I was used to hearing comes out so beautifully, makes me nostalgic, it's a certain kind of "burp" to the ss1 which I unfortunately don't often get from the traditional Warwick videos... thanks for a good demo where the true sounds of the ss1 gets to stand out!
I play only 5 string anymore and I have had several Corvettes, one Thumb and two double buck's. *They are nice bases*, however I prefer 35" scale and I also have come to like 19mm spacing. I like the higher string tension of 35" scale, I also like reinforcement in the neck.
Nice demo. i think the Streamer is the best bass Warwick makes. I had 2 different Thumbs at one point (BO and NT), and I just couldn't get along with either.
have had this bass for 7 years. looks awesome, it is much harder to slap on this bass than an ernie ball or fender bass. I think the strings are a bit closer together on this bass? can get a lot of different tones out of it better for fingerstyle playing imo.
hey, I have to agree with you, my general "feeling" when playing this bass was that it felt "harder" to play than my other basses (I own a Stingray 5, a Cirrus 5 and various Sadowskys ) that's the only reason I sold it. but the sound signature is something you cannot find anywhere else well perhaps a Spector ?
All my bass had demos (except the Fenders, you don't really need a Jazz Bass and a Precision demo...). copy and paste the address below: watch?v=9_LC9u3F_ZY&list=PLFH7BpCZSG2YzMCbfP2Lf_bMoorAIkXHw
How does this differ from the current PS Streamer LX4 in terms of spec? It sounds so much warmer than the new Streamers. Congrats on such sweet tone sir!
Lovely playing, great bass, but it seems to clip a lot when you boost the lows with the slap. Not sure if I'd notice it without monitor headphones though.
Yes you are right, but I found it after recording and don't have the strength to do it all over again. The bass boost on this bass in out of this world !
That reversed P pickup sounds so much better than the traditional P pickup. Nice bass. I own an old school, 1989 Streamer myself.
Best bass demos on the Web ! Congrats Perty: that really pushes me to progress on bass (I play essentially guitar). You rock man \m/
Thanks !!!

That's precisely what I want to see! It's one of the reasons I watch your vids man. You've got tones I can't even get.
Thank !!!
What a bass !!....well balanced sound, vibrant and alive......oh, and nice playing.
Love the tones on that bass. Want!
Damn why did I sell my streamer all those years ago.. Love how crisp they are.
Nice sounding ! And playing great !
Warwick 4 life...Awesome demo \m/
Awesone demo, i really love that bass.
Glad you like it!
This and the starbass are my favorite demos you've done
Thanks ! I'm glad you've seen more than one of my demos
Definitely man. I like the basses, but you also play really tastefully.
Good sound !

The neck pickup is fire, a mix between P and MM
Thanks
Wicked demo! I can't decide between the SS1 or Corvette Bubinga for best tones in modern bass history.
What's your preference?
Nice demo. i think the Streamer is the best bass Warwick makes. I had 2 different Thumbs at one point (BO and NT), and I just couldn't get along with either.
Great demo. That is one sexy as Füçk bass!!!! It sounds nicer passive IMHO Each to their own though

Hey what pickups and electronics are in that bass? One of the best bass sounds i've heard. Good job :)
All original MEC pickups and electronics
Great video/demo. Think I'm just realising that I just don't like the new string sound. Good in some ways not dirty enough for me though
What pickups, preamp and strings have this bass? Sound incredible! Thanks you
Pickups and preamp is the original MEC, strings are DR Lo Rider
Great vid! Why don't you demo your basses? I've seen the Alembic demoed, but I wanna see the rest of them haha.

It's a lot different, from woods to electronics. A completely different bass...
Those strings sound great! What’s the brand and gauge?
Thanks! As far as I remember DR Lo Rider 045-105
Would you say this splitcoil sounds close to the 6 string streamer neck pickup?
I realy don't know, I don't have a 6 string Streamer
@@pertybass or was it a 5 string streamer? I mean those mec soapbars
kimseniorb so I think they are in the same location. I don’t have those basses anymore.
Still the best bass Warwick builds, and a damn good demo (y)
Thanks
how did you record it brother? killer tone!
jim claypool thanks! I recorded it directly to the interface (Focusrite). Nothing in between
thats rad tone dude!
Cool !
How much does it weigh ?
Thanks, around 4 kilo
