I was going to come to Phnom Penh for New Years, but my time ( 5 months ) in Siem Reap has been such an important, fun and meaningful time in my life, I had to respect all that I had been given here. Happy New Years to all who know the secret, this is the best place to live in the world.
They need to not let everyone play fireworks openly in the crowd, it’s dangerous and can burn people or floats, which can cause chaos and stampede. Like I watched other countries celebrating and only Cambodia did that. Laos was a good celebration too with drones but no crazy crowds playing with fire works. I’m from the US and what I saw in Cambodia would be illegal, we don’t allow crowds to openly spray fireworks like that. Besides that Happy New Year!
