- Hi SHAWOLs 💎 I recorded this video with my last SHINee reaction and I decided to upload it apart from the other videos cause I feel this is a special performance. I wasn’t ready for Jonghyun not to be there with the other guys, it was so painful... I wish he could have received some help and maybe he would still perform nowadays. I love him so much he’ll always be my favorite singer cause his voice is out of this world, he always make me feel something special while listening to him and I am sure he was a wonderful human being.

It's okay, you don't need to apologise for being emotional. This performance, in fact, this whole concert, is a lot.
But, as difficult as it is, remember what he said himself, he'll be with us forever. 🌙💎💞

Although this SHINee World 2018: The Best From Now On concert -- which was the first concert SHINee held after Jonghyun's death -- is extremely sad, I also enjoy watching it every time because it makes me feel like this is the one time where all Shawols are able to come together with SHINee and actually collectively support, grieve and celebrate together. This concert was the event that makes me feel the closest to the members and fans from all over the world because we are feeling these emotions together. It's super emotional, but it also shows just how important Shawols are to SHINee, and even though everyone, including the members, pretty much cried throughout the show, it was a great moment of catharsis for all of us because it gave us an opportunity to grieve all together.
And as you saw, Jonghyun will always be present in everything they do. That concert was held only about 2 months after he died, but it had been planned for months prior to that, so the concert was sold out. Even through their grief the members didn't want to let the fans down and they decided they would continue the concert as planned. I like to think of it as more of a memorial and celebration than a concert.
Because they had been planning this concert for a long time before Jonghyun's death, everything was prepared with all five of them involved, so they had to go back and rework everything and learn how to do everything they would normally do without him. I am always impressed, because even though they were all super emotional, they were able to still sing so beautifully and were able to put on such a magnificent performance. The deserve all the respect and admiration that they get.
The members all vowed that SHINee will always be 5 and that Jonghyun will always be involved in everything they do. And during the concert when they performed the choreo for some of their most iconic songs they intentionally left Jonghyun's spot open and only filled in for him when something just wouldn't work without someone in that position. I think we are always going to have reminders of him in all that SHINee does from now on, and that is the way it should be. He was loved and will never be forgotten, and when possible, should always be involved in things that have to do with SHINee.
When you eventually get around to watching this whole concert, you will see that they even had Jonghyun with them on the screen singing his parts of some of their songs.
Another one of SHINee's songs that has now turned into a tribute song for Jonghyun, that they also performed at this concert is "Diamond Sky." If you haven't seen that performance yet, you should check it out. It's another emotional one, but it's worth it.
We have been through a lot in the last 2 1/2-plus years. But I think SHINee and Shawols have only become stronger and more tightly bonded through it all. It's Jonghyun's legacy that keeps us strong and has taught us all to be resilient.
You did well Jonghyun, our angel and diamond in the sky. You did well and will never be forgotten. OT5 forever and ever.

It's ok....I have also introduced myself to SHINee after jonghyun left us but still I cried everytime when I see this concert...it's like he is on the stage with all other members in their every performance....you should watch to their 💎Diamond Sky 💎performance of this concert.....you will really feel better....
Damn, seeing you all smiling and happy at the begining of the video and thinking "she's so not ready"... I call this concert 'the greiving concert', I can't imagine how difficult this must have been for them, but I think it was incredibly important to the fans: Both showing that Shinee is continuing, showing that it is ok to grieve and cry, but also to have some "normal" stages and happier moments within that same concert.
About the song - It hadn't been released before, so this concert was the first time we heard it. I always imagined Shinee recorded it is a kind of goodbye to fans ahead of their hiatus for military service. Obviously, it took on other meaning after Jonghyun's passing. One of my favorites, even though this stage makes me cry everytime (and I don't cry easy).
Not only this song but this entire concert is so difficult to watch for us OT5/Blingers. It's heartbreaking 😭😭😭

This concert was two months after jonghyuns passing. Jonghyuns mom wanted them to continue with it so they did it. Diamond in the sky was done at this concert and while singing minho screamed out jonghyuns name. This whole concert was so special to everyone but so sad. Thank you for watching this with us.
Don't worry. I also cried when the music just started. Everytime I watch this performance, I feel like the event happened just yesterday. I haven't heard all their sound tracks in THE STORY OF LIGHT their first album without Jonghyun. I didn't mean to tbh. I only realized recently that I was actually avoiding the thought of him physically not with us anymore. I already accepted the reality mentally but I'm still fooling my eyes into seeing they are still physically five.

I went through so much after Jonghyun's death..I remembered staying in my bed crying for months..I didn't want to eat or even drink anything..my family went crazy because of my depression..I will never forget those days like ever..it was the most painful period of my life but we all went through it..so thank you shawols for everything thank you for being my second family ..rest in peace jonghyun aaaah you really did well 💔💔💔💔

Aww sweetie, I was the same way when I 1st heard and watched this performance. I feel you too Jonghuun is my ultimate bias. 5HINee will always be 5. He will never be defined by that incident. He left us his beautiful music and lyrics. Listen to them to help you heal. He and SHINee's music got me through some hard times. Like you said, playing and sharing his music will keep his memories alive for us. Hugs my fellow Blinger❣🤗

The members carried such absolute strength and grace during this incredibly difficult time. My heart hurts so much even now but i cant imagine how it must be for them. Shinee will always be five. 4 incredible human beings and our angel.

I knew this happy puppy had no idea what was she getting into the moment she started this video. Everyone reacts the same way. Most of my friends cried when I showed them this video. It's ok dear. Cry it out. That's how we are gonna feel lighter.
Jonghyun is so amazing inside n out. He also donate his organ to the hospital. Also he really respect woman so much. He's so kind inside and out. All SHINee members are so kind.. Trust me. Their super junior senior(sunbaenim) always said that 'all SHINee members are so kind hearted'. They're lovely and amazing
Each time I watched this video, I cry. This time is no exception. But even though this is sad, cause it will always be associated with the fact Jjong is no longer with us physically, it is still one of my fave SHINee songs.

never apologize for showing your emotions, shawols understand those feelings perfectly, we've been there. you're not alone in this. somehow this pain is a necessary step for a closure and coming to terms of reality, then we can finally accept him as our forever angel, that will always be there even if we can't see him, we feel him with our hearts! 💕

for me, i cant go a day without listening to this song, its like it gives me goosebumps each time and i cry literal oceans, byt idk it just gives me this weird thing in my heart. this is the song i love the mos in my life. if i listen to it at night i cant sleep, but this song is just a big hug in itself. its okay to cry and grieve.
