Legally you can't. In India one can get a MCWOG license at the age 16 and for MCWG one should be atleast 18. But honestly I also learnt riding at the age of 13 . 😅

Gloves and a full face helmet please !! At 4:08 you fail as a teacher. Video from the aspect of motorcycle riders skills and awareness and attitude it is clear that RUclips videos are the worst place to “learn to ride a motorcycle” 99.9% of the time. Number one is: Can the person ride a bicycle? You need that balance skill first. Next you need to know how to stop a motorcycle BEFORE you get the ignition key. You NEVER start off a first time person like that. You get them on a 250 cc or smaller bike if at all possible. You DO NOT start the engine EVER - hide the key. You need at least 2 people. The new rider after being shown and understand every part and item on the motorcycle - they sit on the motorcycle with 2 feet down always. The second person is behind and pushes in a straight line. So when the new rider is ready they yell "go" and the person behind pushes....when the motorcycle is rolling straight ahead the person behind yells "stop". The new rider stops the motorcycle with the rear brake only. You do this over and over maybe 25 times. Then next you do the same but instead part 2 is use the front brake only each time. Maybe 25 times. Then part 3 is using both brakes equally maybe 25 times. A new person is not allowed to start the engine until they know how to stop. And be very comfortable at stopping smoothly. If that is all you do on your first day that is great. With no engine. So they have had the experience of stopping a motorcycle at least 75 times or more with no engine. There are hundreds of videos on RUclips of "fails" of new riders getting on ... starting the engine and the motorcycle races into a fence or wall or something and the person has no clue how to stop the machine. If you can't stop a motorcycle with both brakes in a proficient smooth manner you are not allowed to start the engine. And two feet down for every stop and two feet up at the same time as soon as the person starts to push. The same when the engine is running some day. I have seen beginners fall over trying to use one leg or the other. One foot means the bike is tilted and unstable. That is how new riders crash. They must learn to stop in a controllable manner first. New riders should never be put into 'panic' first day situations.
Thanks @YesSure for those statement of advice. Duly noted and will make it a point to incur them when I make another video of similar kind. I agree I should have wore Gloves, but that helmet is already full face!! 🤔 As in the beginning of my video I have already mentioned that I know how to ride a cycle, so that question of whether a person knows how to balance diminishes within the first couple of seconds of my video. I appreciate all the details that you wrote about the process of how to learn Motorcycle Riding, but I still have a faint doubt on whether there is any particular rule to be followed while learning how to ride. But yes the basic process remains the same but it may be followed or taken up differently from person to person. Still would like to thank you again for those advices and in future would expect more such things from you. This bike was a Hero Glamour and it has an Engine Displacement of 124.7 CC. 🌝 Your comments matters the most for me. Safe Ride 🏍️ Peace ✌️
@@ReecreatingStories My text was how to stop not how to ride. Stopping is much more important than 'going' -- anyone can go but they usually crash if they can't stop. You doubted "any particular rule" well every certified motorcycle safety school in Canada teaches braking first without the engine. Here is part 2 of braking. >> Emergency braking should be mentioned learned and practiced. Note: Every time you stop you put both feet down at the same time when the motorcycle has stopped. And if the road surface is slippery, gravel, mud, sandy, heavy rain maybe you want to be solid and steady. That keeps you upright and balanced instead of leaning and having to hold the motorcycle. And think… if you have to ride away quickly you don't waste a precious second getting the motorcycle vertical before riding away. So …..Start at a reasonable speed like 30 to 40 mph in a big open empty parking lot. Find a marker on the road as a measurement point. Do 3 emergency stops from that marker and note where you finally stop and mark that point with something like an old glove. Next. Practice rear brake only first - apply it slow and evenly over and over until you are able to brake right at the threshold of skidding but don't go that far. Steady and slowly increasing brake pressure not abrupt. Next is front brake only - and ditto the same practice applies as the rear. Steady and slowly increasing brake pressure not abrupt. Now the same speed and use both brakes right to their threshold skidding point. Practice that a good number of times. Now go back and recheck yourself at the first location that you marked with the glove. Do another emergency braking. You will see that you have stopped much shorter than your first time. Do this exercise once a month to keep your skills sharp. Yes I know about ABS and linked brakes. You can still skid an ABS equipped motorcycle. The tires skid and release numerous times quickly. Try to get to that point without reaching it for maximum braking efficiency. Eventually you will discover that the front brakes have more stopping 'power' and therefore you will apply maybe 65% to 70% of the braking to the front and 30% to 35% to the rear. Of course you can't do it that precise but it is a good target value. In emergency braking you hardly have time to downshift. You can just pull in the clutch and use your left foot to get you down into first gear and ready to ride off based on what happens behind you when you stop fast. Practice emergency braking about once a month. ;) I have more lessons already pre-written.
