CRAZY IL-76MF NOSE GEAR LANDING! Egyptian Air Force Arrival and Departure at Belgrade Airport | +ATC

- A very special visitor came to Belgrade Airport some weeks ago, one of 3 Ilyushin IL-76MFs ever built (red SU-BTY, 13 years old). This variant is 6,6m longer than the standard IL-76 variant and were specially made for Royal Jordanian Air Force, but were later sold to Egyptian Air Force. This was by far the strangest landing in have seen so far, with almost 0 flare it landed nose first, bounced, then landed again… certainly a one landing for memories!
EGY1908 arrived from Cairo and departed some 5 hours later back to the same airport as EGY1908.

My thought exactly. I was waiting for the pilot to pitch the nose up at the last minute, but then he landed nose first and it was perfect! Such a wonderful capture.

Okay, the landing was already interesting enough, but this video gets EVEN MORE interesting the further I'm into it:
1. 3:04 a 1-minute warm up on a PS-90A-76?
2. 3:41 "Please read back" (takeoff clearance); never heard this before.
3. EgyptAir callsign on a military flight.
@@fs10inator it’s not PS-90A76 (derated thrust for common Il-76, not longed), it’s the “classic” PS-90A with 16 tons of thrust instead of 14.5 tons

Yes i know, but i am a great fan of my army and i just wanna a little hint about what it contains, in other words the collaborations between the two countries(Lazar3 or alas or??? ) if you have any idea about the deal tell me
@@mohammed_gam Sorry but then I will probably disappoint You since Egypt Air Force IL-76mf (both su-bty and su-btx) are only carriers of cargo between Russia and Serbia. We are not in NATO but we are surrounded by nato countries so we do have issues to get military hardware from both Russia and China. Time by time we manage somehow to get those "things" but only by large cargo planes like Il-76 and An-124. When all settle down a bit than we could talk (maybe) what was inside. I hope you will understand why it's not a time now. Since last 2 years we simply need to hide some HW as this region of Balkan is still smoking and there are always tensions and an unofficial arms race.
You know how much hypocrisy is in western countries so they only like when we buy from them their way more expensive arms and equipment but if we mention S-400 or even s-300pmu2 from Russia they start threaten us with sanctions and consequences... so we bought Mistral3 from France as short range to make them calm while we bought Chinese FK-3 as well :D We bough H-145M from Airbus while we got Mi-35M from Russian and some older Mi-35P from Cyprus to be modernized. Then we bought Thales long range radars and for west-east "balance" Chinese HQ-17AE. Many other examples...
