This videos speaks of serious side effects of Immunotherapies. Standard therapies side effects compared to immunotherapies side effects... which modalities have worse side effects and in the highest proportion of people undergoing that modality? From the information available it seems the Immuno Therapies have fewer and milder and easier to manage side effects and in significantly smaller proportion of people, in general. Of course your oncologist will clarify.
Hello Smt. It’s difficult to predict how any one person may respond to a specific treatment compared to another, since every cancer is different and every patient is different. The doctor is in the best position to determine which treatments one person may benefit from and help weigh the risks and benefits of each treatment for the patient. You can learn more about the side effects of immunotherapy at www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/types/immunotherapy/side-effects . Take care.
@@NCIgov Thank you so much for your very informative reply which is very greatly appreciated indeed. I am in the early learning stage, trawling through pubmed Willey etc., and it is considered to be a very valuable gift when a stranger guides you to another source of solid reliable information. Good health to you and to yours.
Thank you for this video. It clearly explained how immunotherapy works.
BEST ANIMATION for PDL1 and PD1 inhibition but does not mention the either, wacky world.
Helpful !
Thank you ♥️
Is this therapeutic approach effective in people with HIV ( impaired immune systems) ?
