Mikhail Tukhachevsky ordered to use poisonous gas to suppress the peasant unrest in Tambov region. Also Tukhachevsky led Red Army against newly formed Polish Army in 1920 and was severely beaten.
Interesting Fact: Tukhachevsky was cell mates with Charles de Gaulle. He played the violin and spoke openly about his distain for Christians, much to the chagrin of de Gaulle.
I read that during the Tambov Rebellion that Tukachevsky used poison gas to not only murder the rebels and civilians but also to destroy the food stuffs that the farmers hid in the forest.
2:45:"...on the WESTERN front"??? There were Russians on the western front? And yet you show footage of the eastern front? I mean, the EASTERN front was nearly nothing BUT Russians on the side of the "Triple entente", so I really doubt Russia sent anything more than embassy guards to the western allies.
Actually there was a Russian Expeditionary Force of under 10,000 sent to Franc and no that is not an "embassy guard." One can debate the impact of such a relatively small force but it did exist and was bigger than your dismissive comment suggests.
During the Russian Civil War, at the battle of Tsaritsyn (later named Stalingrad), Tukachevsky and Trotsky blamed the loss on Voroshilov, Stalin and Budenny.

This is what happens when everyone wants a conviction at the expense of the truth
Or what happens when there’s no conviction despite the truth…
That's how all leftists think. Democrats especially.
Amazing how tyrants kill off their more capable military officers.
Because they are afraid of them.
Do you think those tyrants are burning in hell as we speak?
@@flexairzlike they're too capable they also have the capacity to overthrow tyrants and take over and probably start a new military dictatorship?

The evil and treachery of Stalin knew no boundaries.
Let me say: never double crossed Josef Stalin while trying to rule the Soviet Union or end up executed.
Stalin is no different than any democrat.

@@BubbaThaumaturge ugh yeah - he was russian.
What a fool he was to serve Stalin and then die by his hand
3 out of 5 first marshals of the Soviet Union were executed. Only Budyniy and Varashilov survived.

Very interesting. Thank you for that fact.
True.

Correct. 1921, I believe.
