- My name is Arslan and I’ve been living in vehicles for the past few years. My journey of alternative living began after I was fed up with the high cost of rent in the United States. I fell in love with the idea of living on the road, so over the years, I converted a sprinter van, a Camaro and most recently been living in my 2014 chevy suburban camper car. I enjoy making RUclips videos and recording my different experiences to share with you guys. I’m also a nurse half days of the week because I have a significant passion for helping people.
In This video: I remodeled my camper car! quick tour of the new full time vanlife machine, plus some baking with an air fryer in my car!

Please use the headrest when driving. It is a HUGE safety issue if you get in an accident. 🙏 I love the new remodel. I hope it’s more comfortable for you! An air fryer is a game changer!
Risk of whiplash! ugh, that makes sense, but my car doesn't have remote lock controller, that's why I need to be able to reach the front cabin. maybe I should install headrest and slide the driver seat forward when im in camper mode, I'll try that. Glad you liked the new remodel Crunchy Mama ❤️

@@solarcampercar When you drive, have the headrest in, and then when you're inside your truck, just take the headrest out, so you can reach everything.
I've had whiplash a few times, and you definitely want to drive with the headrest.

@@mirandaspigener-sapon9770 It’s was not nitpicking. This is the comments sections. Humans are not termites with same mindset. We all have vastly different opinions. The RUclipsr benefits from comments, the good with the bad. You yourself saying it was silly was also an opinion, a judgmental one at that, but you are definitely entitled to it as well. He himself changed it, so that made your comment a moot point. And he’s more comfortable as he can now sleep in different positions. No, it was not silly, it was necessary and the right thing to do

I agree with the other comments about headrest.. definitely put it back on when driving for safety reasons! it could save your life in a serious accident.

This is one of the best stealth setups I have ever seen. You are a genius!
I love the air fryer. Just be careful it has enough space at the back and it's not too close to a wall/any other object for the air to come in/out.

stick your jar lids to the underside of your cabinets so your spice jars are up, out of the way, and easily accessed. Just an idea. My Gramps did that with his nuts and bolts, nails and screws with old baby food jars. Good show!!

If you bake the crust by itself for while, you will have a crispy bottom crust, then put your sauce and toppings on to finish it. :) Love the remodel!!
Nice remodel man! Hey, I’ve got an idea for you to keep SUVing! Instead of switching to a van? You could take your Burban to a specialty shop and have one of those hardtops that lift up so you can stand up and walk around. It’d be like a transformer! Stealth when you want to be stealth and chill-up mode when you don’t have to stealth it. I’ve seen them on only a handful of SUVs. (Roaming reckless has one on her old suv) It’d be crazy unique, but super practical, that’s for sure . Have a great week 🤙

Hey Thanks Carl! have thought about that! it would cost $2k-$4k for that kind of job. it would add a lot of comfort but it would make the car less stealth since it's an unusual exterior upgrade. something for me to think about it!
Nice setup! Make sure you provide good spacing for venting behind the air fryer when using. The exhaust heat could melt your backsplash or damage the tinting on your window.
Now i feel relaxed knowing you wont be bumping your head everytime you sleep. Nice remodel!

Awesome car makeover and air fryer recipes, Arslan! My fave on the car is the clean lines. It looks a lot neater and more pleasing to the eye. With the bed, I like more space to move around, but I'm sad for the tighter storage underneath. I'd check with a friendly trooper to make sure removing the driver's headrest is legal. It's actually intended to protect your neck in accidents, not rest it. While it's probably not on the regular inspection checklist, it may be a violation. Better safe than sorry. Can't wait to see what you make and do and where you go next! Also, please tell us about your headband-mounted filming gear. I need that! Blessed be. 💖

Love the remodel!!! So glad you bought an air fryer. Amazing how an air fryer can cook a steak to perfection! I buy small, Spencer steaks for the size and the tenderness. Just spray both sides with cooking spray, season and cook 4 minutes on each side for a perfect medium rare or more minutes if you like your steak medium or well done. You can even bake cookies and cakes in it. The possibilities are endless!!!

Wish there were mini air-fryers during my vanlife years. Glad you have one! It's so fast and just like a tiny oven. I use mine a lot at home. "Pigs in a blanket" tip; spread mustard, or your favourite 'pig' topping (incl minced onion) on the dough before you roll. Mmmm...

Nice! I love my air fryer primarily because my apartment is south facing so gets super hot and I don’t want to add to the heat with my oven but my air fryer is fantastic and doesn’t add any heat to the room
Used to work there and so many memories at big Pocono state park made me miss home we moved away two years ago to many tourist and needed better jobs but lived there for along time love the set up so much thought put into it
