    Good stuff! At 70, I now play outfield in Senior softball. My throwing distance has suffered mostly due to arthritic shoulder pain. Looking to tweek my mechanics and specific drills to practice. I think these tips will help a lot. Thanks!

    Hey coach, my arm strength isn’t at the best and I’m pretty built, I think it has something to do with finding my natural arm slot because I try to throw like a different player every week. What should I do? I play outfield mostly but want to expand to infield soon but I just get worried so I don’t throw hard because im not going to be accurate Any tips? My baseball szn starts in a week!

    Nice video also like the fact that you brought into nutrition tips about how to improve your body as well so that's very good not only worrying about the throwing and mechanics but also about the nutrition and how important it is a lot of instructors don't really talk about nutrition they just talk about the basics of how to throw your mechanics but the nutrition part is definitely important good video man.

    I can throw really far but it’s to high and I want a lower and faster throw. I workout a lot on my arm and body. I throw like 4-5 times a week. And my mechanics are not that bad. I am kinda skinny but I’m not sure if it’s that?

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  6 лет назад +2

      Anything is possible! Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, either way.. you’re right! That being said, it WILL definitely be a challenge. I’d recommend sharpening his baseball skills as much as possible and get as many live at bats as possible. Nothing replaces live at bats and real games!

    Whats up bro! My son is 8yrs old and is an experienced player.. But, his hand is gripped on the ball like a palm change-up.. I tried having him grip it the right way. But, his hand are too small.. What recommendations Do You have? He does throw gas as a pitcher and from 3rd to 1st.. Please help.thanks

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  6 лет назад

      I think the biggest thing is to make sure his hand is relaxed. If his hand isn't big enough, that might be the only way he can hold the ball is like a palm changeup. That's okay - as long as his hand is relaxed. As soon as he tenses up and chokes the ball, he'll lose velocity because he's essentially throwing a changeup. I wouldn't worry about it too much. He'll grow and soon this will be a thing of the past!

      Weighted balls can be very effective. However, I think there's some other things you can do FIRST to maximize your velocity - including dialing in your mechanics, plyometrics to become more explosive, med ball drills, rotator cuff exercises, scap exercises, plus fast-action velocity drills. Our new velocity system would be perfect for you
