So let me get this straight, the Prince was in a life or death situation within the Palace so he pleaded with the FLs dad/Prime Minister to help him and he promised to marry the FL once everything was settled. Once his problem was solved and 3 years later not only doesn't he help the FL and her dad, he allows her dad to be executed and then starts a Reign of Terror on his loving wife and marries a lying, conniving harlot and he believes her to be his savior from years prior, without any proof or investigation. His wife is sent to the kennels with the dogs, to be treated horribly by everyone, especially by him and that concubine. He has sex and impregnates both women but still treats the wife brutally to the point that she goes crazy. Her poor body is tortured, malnurished, overworked, and just abused to the point of death. She's fed with the dogs in the same bowl, and she has to fight them for that food to feed her and her baby. The prince is totally awake and conscience of his bad behavior and does nothing to stop the abuse. He even gleefully participates in her attacks. Finally, her body gives up about a month after she's given birth and her baby stolen from her and given to that slag, and during a knife attack, she dies. Her only support was the 2nd ML and an elderly servant. Only after her death does the hubby miss her and starts harassing her when he finds out she somehow survived, and he starts investigating and gets her dad exonerated post humorously. He's "shocked" that the FL wants nothing to do with him and is scared out of her wits being around him. He stalks her so badly that she runs away to a border town that, ironically, she had saved him years prior. The kind innkeeper lady takes her in and has her stay there because she knows her. He finds her again. Why doesn't she just kill him or marry the 2nd ML and start having kids with him? The ML deserves a life of regret, misery, and pain. Treat him like the dog he is. He didn't even verify if anyone remembered the harlot in that border town. Pftt! He should have sent Scooby Doo to check it out. This guy cracks me up, but not in a good way. His wife's abuse was over the top. I've got a feeling that their son will be closer to her than to him, and he'll be mom's protector when he grows up. He was really attached to the FL, even as a baby. It's sad that the baby had more sense than his sperm donor of a dad.

The worst part of this is when he tried to feed her abortion meds and she refused he then makes her drink from the toilet pot, her face had yellow stains and everything I was done then. The Fl is either not human or has stockholm syndrome because there is no way she got back with that creature LMFAO I applaud the writers if your goal was to anger the audience then this did it for me. splendid acting from the cast though
Compared to others I've watched, at least the ML worked for the FL's forgiveness for almost half of the movie. Even when she returned to the palace, she still showed returning is not equal to forgiveness. Not like others, where one act of kindness trumps all the abuse.
