This topic was fun! I watched this while having my morning coffee! I used to have a travel perfume spray in Kaleidoscope and to me, it smelled a lot like Glossier You.

Chocolate Amber. Way before y’all’s time. 2011/2012 I think. Best fragrance ever and they were selling super high on eBay. Can’t find them now of course
I’m still savoring the coco shea and honey line. I have the oil and body butter hidden away so my daughter doesn’t use it lol. I only use the two when I shave 🪒 my legs.

I remember my Grandma had a P.S. I Love You body lotion when I was a kid and I still vividly remember how good it smelled; I would love to get my hands on that fragrance again!
I am mind blown that the Santa’s bake shop from 2019, I believe, has never made a comeback! I would spend a little extra coin, especially for the lemon scent and the blueberry scent! 😍😍😍

“If You Musk” from the new luxury line at BBW is supposed to be a repackage of Kaleidoscope so definitely don’t go spend an arm and a leg on that one because you can get the new version at a normal non-inflated price. Thank me later, you’re welcome!💯💖

Hi Melissa! I noticed the "scalped" items which is insane with what some sellers are charging. I would say I have some "vintage" BBW items in my collection. A couple of candle holders and sleeves I have are from their Slatkin & Co. days. Not sure if those are considered as vintage, but I consider them as vintage. I have some early 2000's Halloween wallflower plug ins, a Sweet Cinnamon unlit candle that is in a ceramic pumpkin from 2013 among others I actually purchased in store at the time. I have a Halloween body spray called, "A Purrfect Pumpkin" from 2016 or 2017 which is one I rarely see. I retired wearing it and just kept it for nostalgic reasons. I regret not keeping some other items like Halloween soap holders etc.
The ones that really weird me out are like last Halloween with the accessories/holders. It can be bad too because I personally don't want BBW to try and put restrictions of any kind on their products that will end up hurting people with genuine intentions in response to try and control the scalping. I think the best thing anyone can do is just not to buy at those prices so scalpers will know people aren't interested. 🤞 That's a super fun old-school collection you've got! 🎃 I consider Slatkin & Co. to be vintage too! It definitely was a different era for BBW home fragrance! 🥰
@@MelissaC Sometimes you can find vintage BBW in thrift stores. Everything I have was actually bought in store or given to me for Christmas that year from friends. That's the thing....Once you buy the product it's yours. You can do whatever you want with it. I personally don't think BBW cares once you pay for the product.
Ps I love you is my absolute favorite and I’m so sad they’re not bringing it back. I ask every year!

It doesn’t sell for a lot on eBay but I do wish they would bring back Black Amethyst. I have one bottle and I try to use it sparingly in hopes that they will eventually return it to stores.
I think Sensual was axed when Aromatherapy relaunched in Fall 2017, and replaced with Happiness, Focus, etc.
I had just left working for BBW around this time and I miss how experimental and unique things were in this era. It made me more drawn to shopping there.
Still avidly shopping BBW, but that time spoke to my interests so much more! Things are much more basic again lol but they surely sell
Yes, I remember it being regularly a part of the AT collection until that big rebrand. I agree, I took way more interest in their releases from that time more than the stuff that's come out more recently! 🥰

The new “if you musk” scent is suppose to be a reformulation of kaleidoscope. One of my favorite scents from BBW

Yeah they all smell like non distinct cologne to me! 😅 Jose likes the fresh and citrus scents while my dad likes the more cozy, vanilla men's scents normally but all of the ones available right now come off too musky.

Birch and Argan was my favorite in this collection. LOL Not a popular opinion but I love woody, musky, and even floral fragrances. Autumn Nights was pretty much a repackage of this scent so I am glad to have both. Autumn Blooms sounds like my kind of scent, so sad I missed out on it. I might spend a fair penny for that one. Love your videos, especially with a nice cup of coffee. ❤
The scent notes listed for Brightest Bloom the first week of the release were: Sparkling quince, pink pepper & iris petals, which sounds very similar to Kaleidescope.
Great observation- Those are exactly the notes of Kaleidoscope, but I found out that the notes listed on the website for Brightest Bloom at first were a mistake! 😯 They are the notes for the new release called If You Musk, and they're listed as Iris, Pink Pepper & Airy Musk...super weird that happened!
@MelissaC thanks for the info. I'll ck out If You Musk. I ordered Brightest Bloom for those scent notes & by the time it arrived B&BW corrected the misprint. So, I returned it.

This was my first time watching one of your videos. I really really enjoyed it! Aquamarine is my number one all-time favorite fragrance from Bath & Body Works... I have half a bottle of body cream left that I use sparingly because it is very expensive online

That group of men's fragrances was around until late 2017 or early 2018. I remember buying those colognes for my ex at 75% off in either December 17 or June 18 sas. Unfortunately he kept them when we split!

I’ve been buying a bit too much lately and my mindset is “put it in a box and if I don’t use it, sell it later” but I have no plans to raise prices or anything like that. I just don’t want to miss out on a backup if I don’t realize how much I love something until it’s gone from the store (and I can take my time trying my new scents) so my plan to sell is simply to find homes for items I don’t end up using, not to make money.

I have some of these in my collection. Black Currant Vanilla was one I bought because I really liked the label. 😄 I know the mist I have probably has only been sprayed once. The rest of the collection has never been opened. I love having it in my collection, I don’t think I could part with it.
I’m not sure what I would pay a premium price for, my first thought was Apricot & Honey. That whole honey line just needs to come back. 🍯 I loved Coco Shea Honey, but I probably wouldn’t purchase it off eBay considering how old the product is and I have no idea how it was stores.

I feel the same way about some of my old throwback BBW as well... don't want to use it, but don't want to part with it! 😁 Some products have entered my own little personal BBW museum. 🥹 I hear ya, I think the only BBW products I would buy off eBay for the sake of using would be home fragrance or spray. Otherwise I'd only want it for the sake of collecting/displaying (ex: Art Stuff collection) just cuz you're right...it's too old! 🤣 I'd love to see Apricot & Honey come back, I never got a chance to try that one! 🍯🍑
I just started shopping at bath and body works in fall of 2023, and because of that I’ve tried a very limited number of mists. However I’ve found some on my local classifieds and I tried indigo dreams. That’s definitely something I’d personally overpay for if I found more!
I still have my rose quartz and moonstone mists, I don't use them I really don't want them to run out but they are so good...
I also had the aquamarine shower gel I regret using it all but that's how much I liked it it's been years I'm waiting for at least a repackage...

It was such a an interesting blend. I haven't smelled this new one yet, but people are saying it's the same notes as one of the new scents in the dupes collection called If You Musk. That would be cool if it was back for a while! 😄
I still have everything from the Kaleidescope line (including the mini solid perfume) except for the actual perfume. Also the Sea-Tox lotion, cream & mist. Also Autumn Blooms body butter, lotion, shower gel & Diamond shimmer mist. And Chestnut & Argan body butter & Birch & Argan & body butter. Plus Coco Shea Honey body butter, body oil, moisturizing body wash & shower jelly. Also the Rose Quartz body cream. And Aromatherapy Sensual Black Currant & Vanilla & Jasmine Vanilla lotion & body wash. Lastly, Aromatherapy Thankful Frankencense & Myrh lotion & body wash. Thanks for sharing! ❤

It's crazy to remember them upon their humble releases and to see how rare they are now! 😲 I don't recall a Tropical Paradise, I remember more recently a Coco Paradise and a Hibiscus Paradise. Melissa I found my bottle of shower gel and it was tranquil tropics I forgot the name 🙃 the number on the bottom of the bottle is 4 so not sure what year that was. 🤔 but it sure smells amazing.

All BBW has to do is bring the fragrance back. I'm sure they still have the formula. When they hear that we want it back , I don't see the problem. It's money in there pocket.

I've spent more money this year buying B&BW products from ebay than I have at the store. I'm just not that excited about what's come out. I'm cheap, though, so I don't like to spend more than the retail price.
Two I would maybe splurge on would be Red Currant & Thyme Tea (I have a couple of sprays saved in my Watch List) and Aromatherapy Elderflower Mandarian Cedarwood from 2021, although it had been out a few times under slightly different names before that.
I want to know if people are paying high prices on products that they intend to use, or do they just want to have them as part of a collection?
I hear ya, whenever I browse eBay and Mercari just to see what's going on, I'm always so much more tempted than when I visit the store nowadays! I think the memories, the fear of missing out (and the fact that I did miss out sometimes haha) and all if the nostalgia behind the older scents really make me want to shop through sellers. 😅 Same, I have to make sure it's a good deal/actually worth the price to me before jumping in with both feet.

I wonder that too...I theorize at least with the Sensual Aromatherapy that it's to use because often times I'll see that multiple listings of it will sell all at once, like one person is buying multiples if the same thing. I could be wrong but...yeah it's mysterious to me a bit! 😂

Yeah, most of them are from 2015-2018 so they're a little bit older, and most have not made a reappearance like Bath & Body Works sometimes does with repackaged scents!

Enjoy your videos. But I no longer shop at BBW. I've grown tired of searching for a favorite fragrance amongst the new concoctions BBW continuously tries to create. They should stop recreating themselves because the new fragrances smell terrible. Missing the discontinued scents we long for.

I still have some of a Thankful candle left. I burn it during Christmas time only and am so sad it has never come back. It is so different from the usual BBW scents.
