    I think a threaded port in stainless steel Integrated/welded in the lid under the lid would be a great innovation where different pieces could be screwed on for the different purposes like cip, recirculation and sparge.

    Reaching all the contact surface areas is the minimum requirement for a CIP spray device. The other being the pressure and volumetric flow rate. Depending on the application, gentle sprays can be ineffective against certain scaling or biofilms. Of course the temperature of the CIP cleaning or sanitising fluid is another critical factor.
    Bacteria have clever techniques that have evolved over hundreds of millions of years (actually billions of years) that enable them to survive changes in their environmental conditions. Forming Biofilms is one, transforming into spores is another.
    I like the cost effectiveness of this device and its suitability

    • @KegLand

      You would pump into the fermenter and then gravity feed back to the brewery. That is the easiest way so you can set it to re-circulate for about 5 min.

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  Год назад +1

      I agree. Just after I finished the video I should have done that. the FermZilla just needs to be a bit higher so the liquid then gravity feeds back to the brewzilla. If you do this make sure you do not set the water temp above 50C or you can melt the tank. Other than that it works really well.

    • @KegLand

      It would work on the all rounder but you would be gradually filling the all rounder up as you spray the solution into the all rounder. With the FermZilla conical you can gravity feed from the dump valve back to the brewzilla boiler and thus be continuously be recirculating.

    • @KegLand

      Yes that is a fair point. We will see if we can make that included as of the kit.
