Not only were there Spanish nationalists in the National side, but also localist traditionalists from Navarre and the Basque Country.
Franco is often seen as a dumb little man, but the dude managed to unite nationalists, localists, fascists, syndicalists and the Church under his Falange de las JONS. These groups would have had no trouble killing each other if the others didn't exist.
The Republicans didn't have a unifying figure like that, and entire fronts were led by political groups who refused to listen to the government too often, like the anarchists in Aragon or the famous Barcelona in-fighting later in the war.

Modern day spanish left wingers try to always depict the spanish civil war as a conflict between democrats and fascists but the dark truth is that each side had factions inside them that hated each other and at some point tried to kill each other to take full control over their own side while they were still fighting against the other side.
This phenom was much more common on the republican side and was one of the biggest factors of its defeat.

The spanish civil war started as a fascist military coup against a democratic government tho. The spanish communist party (PCE) was a minor force at the start of the war, but they became stronger since
      1) they had a lot of soviet help
      2) their militias were disciplined (more discipline = more likely to win = more volunteers, no one wants to fight for a losing commander) while other groups like the anarchists didn't had any.

Looking through my family history I found a great grandparent and a great uncle? Hard to know exactly their title in relation to me. They and my family were from Spain originally. Anyways, one was murdered by the fascist because they thought he was a spy. He was a fisherman. Other was murdered by the communist because they thought he was helping the Pope somehow and the church directly. He was a carpenter. My great grandma and her sister fled To Texas through Portugal somehow and now I am a Texan.
Very messy history to be sure

Most of the SJW hoard would be unironicaly loyalist/pro-establishment but identify
They are the least likely to organise based on talent or Merritt but the most likely to have the backing of the state.
Would be white leftists but have a taboo against appointing white general's so some may elect minorities who are double agents for other factions or just psychopaths.
Ethnic gang's would be split between both sides depends on goals.
Those wanting their own homogeneous country would fight the US I see black separationists establishing at least one defensible stronghold early in the war.
An effort to funnel black nationalists into the stronghold would be supported by people who agreed with them and people who hate them.
This concentrates the black nationalists into the new black state where they would be defending US efforts to retain the territory.
White nationalists would be spread across various factions but would secretly support black nationalists(accelerationisim/propaganda victories) and openly endorse efforts to fight them(as enemies of the USA)
but the more cunning ones would be supporting the black nationalists rebelling against the United States as that would be a fight between their 2 main potential rivals.

This was also because the USSR gave the most by far in terms of equipment, support, advisors, and exerted the most political "influence" if you can call it that.
I'm not as certain of the other side since it's not as well documented and easily accessible but I know this happened and that they marched new international volunteers directly from their flights into the front lines in the cities they landed in, no weapons, no training just cannon fodder.
