终于带来了和“姐姐”的第一支原创曲！也是我的《中国色》系列的首发歌曲--《胭脂》，一丝丝的可爱一丝丝的妖魅，是《胭脂》要给大家讲述的，一段勾魂摄魄的相遇。

I could be wrong, but I think I saw somebody say that both are the same person. I am not sure how you would do it, but I think it is possible for both to be the same person and make this video. Which just that alone sounds like a lot of work.

Bravo! This is Yao Ren Mao at her best. She has mixed modern and traditional dance steps, song and instruments, such as pipa, to create a wonderful and uniquely feminine, almost mesmerizing, dance routine. Hopefully, this beautiful lady will do this sort of thing again and again.

Let's appreciate that she had to memorise two slightly different dance routines, some of it a mirror image of the other and some in sync. That takes skill. She uses all of her body to dance including fingers, hair, eyes, lip and even her nose.

Traditionally, when one person performs several roles, they get credit for each role, not credit being given to an extra made-up name. But if someone has a link to that, I'll believe it.

What's interesting is not the synced dance by a single performer, but the slight but consistent difference in facial expressions of the two "characters" throughout the song, giving a subconscious impression of two different persons, twins with different attitudes if you like.
This is as I wrote consistent, but extra noticeable at 0:32, 2:10 and again at 2:19 where white have some cute and funny expressions, as well as the smile throughout.
If this is intended, due to slight differences in expressions doing the dance with some time in between, or just coincidence I do not know, but the effect remains.
Regardless, great production, nice dance and decent song. I find this “oriental” combination of modern pop and culture quite pleasing, I love the clothes, and wish we had some of the same oriental warmth here in Norway.
Having watched this many many times, I could almost bet my life this was performed by two identical tweens, not a video mix...
