She was my music discovery during quarantine last year and the first time I listened to this album it amazed me how fresh and timeless her music sounded. I was shocked when I found out she passed away one month before I was born, that’s when I understood how she changed the sound of r&b and how much she has influenced so many artists whether it comes to style or sound.
It makes me so happy that her entire discography will be available soon so these new generations get the opportunity to know her amazing legacy.
