X2 was down most of my recent trip so I came here and I’m shocked how easy it was to get to the front entrance. It’s hell getting into universal in Florida
Cool fact. The USH globe actually opened with USF in 1990. But when UOR was being developed into a resort, around 1998, they changed the entrance gate and, replaced the globe with a bigger, blue one. Then they placed the globe at USH.
This is my home park and I live within 2 miles of it so I visit almost every weekend and I have to say, you absolutely nailed this video, particularly the tips and tricks. Great job!
i always felt the big industrial warehouse buildings never let you forget that while you're prancing around jumping on rides it is still a working studio where people get sh*t done. the irony is that inside those nondescript square buildings people create jungles and alien planets etc.
Nailed it. I only go to Universal Studios during their haunt event, but I definitely pay a regular visit after Fast and Furious opens and to see the Nintendo area for the first time. Most of their dark rides make me nauseous, so I would be ecstatic to have the new coaster there. I haven't been there, during the day, in about 8 years. The additions you mentioned will bring me back and many others.
I went here on a random Thursday in January where it was raining hard all morning. There was no crowds all day and the rain stopped after the first 30 minutes. I had such a great time, unfortunately Nintendo wasn’t open yet but I still had a great time.
I think Ush is the perfect balance between theming and thrill. Disney has a lot more theming but with its theming comes its lack of thrill. Universal has a decent amount of theming and a decent amount of thrill.
Part of me only regrets not visiting this park when I was in Southern California back in 2014 because I never got to experience Jurassic World: The Ride back when it was Jurassic Park. Otherwise, I think it might not have been the best time to visit the park in that year as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter had only just begun construction, and other attractions like Super Nintendo World weren't even a thing yet, so there probably wouldn't have been much to do back then.
Visited this park for the first time last December and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Super Mario World hadn't opened yet so we got most everything done pretty fast. We spent quite a bit of time at shows too like the pet show and the special effects show which are both closed now for the Fast and Furious coaster. Overall I liked the park and the Christmas festivities were nice but it did seem like it was missing a standout attraction and coaster. Seems like the Mario Kart ride and Fast and Furious coaster might solve that. I still think they should get rid of the Kung Fu Panda show and replace it with something better. Seemed very filler to me. They could expand the Wizarding World with their own Hagrids type coaster in that area and just have it long and tight because they don't have as much room to work with.
do NOT skimp out on the minigames; theyre actually a ton of fun, you can get achievements, and theres this super cool shadow activity you can do if you get 3 keys from 3 of said minigames.
I hope and you make other reviews of the other universal parks, particularly the one in Japan, which in my opinion is the best universal park along with islands of adventure
@@imsocool5932 It literally has the best collection of rides of any Universal park, the theming is peak in the park, it's the only park with the Only jaw attraction since the last one in Florida closed in 2011 And the best IT IS NEXT TO THE HARRY POTTER AREA and their events are amazing you can literally have attractions based on anime for a limited time
Growing up in LA, I went to this park 3x-4x as a kid. Have not been back as an adult but the new coaster will probably change this! Wonderful review!
Thanks!

Sorry to hear X2 was down. I heard it was down for 2-3 days due to a maintenance issue.

Thanks! I have multiple friends who are passholders so I could check with them for accuracy.
PERFECT timing as I'm going for the first time since 2015 on August 8th.
Enjoy!

True!
Nintendo and the new Intamin Blitz are the secret sauce needed for more guests to come!
I agree.

Can't wait for the Fast and Furious coaster
Me neither.
From my experience with Universal, the Express pass is useless because the single rider lines can save you so much time.
That's fair as long as you don't mind splitting up.

Would you recommend this park for someone with motion sickness or vertigo?
How do you handle simulators?

Nice!
As always amazing analysis
Thanks!
Nice review 👌
Thanks!
Holy crap how am I first?
19 seconds?
I love your videos, Canobie Coasters 👍
Thanks!

I'm excited for the Fast and Furious coaster to complete the park.
Universal has incredible theming with Jurassic, Mario, and potter

It was fun back then, but it's growing big time (in terms of attraction caliber).
Which is your favorite Los Angeles area park?
Disneyland, easily
What I love about Universal Studios Hollywood is that it has a real movie studio with a lot of history in it's 100 years.
Indeed!

Hagrids would need to take over both theater and waterworld show
The Fast and Furious coaster will really complete this park in my opinion.
You should’ve saved this for hollywood drift
I'll go back for it.

The Mini Bowser one? I heard it was fun, but I didn't want to use the time and money as a one-time visitor. I preferred to focus on the rides.
@@CanobieCoaster definitely a lot of fun if you can manage to squeeze it in
I haven't visited any of the Universal parks.
They are well worth visiting.
Looks great but damn 40 dollars for some mini games in nintendo land
Inflation
It's selling and popular, but I'd prefer to focus on the rides myself.

Why do people think the japan park is the best? The only good thing it has is the best Nintendo world which would change in a couple of years i hope.

Japan has my second favorite Universal after Islands.
imo I prefer hhn over knotts 😅
Are you a local? I imagine HHN has more value to locals with the new haunts annually.
I ran up all those stairs as a 14 year old
I've done it recently too.
This park just doesn't seem to be worth it to me. Very expensive, and very few actual thrill rides (roller coasters).
Probably dont understand why they cant thrills rides like that
It's about the theming.
It's too bad that the jurassic world films are such atrocious, soulless, corporate, cash grab, dogshit. The ride looks sweet though
I thought those films are fine. But the ride is far better.
Los Not Las😒
Yes, sorry if my pronunciation sounded off.
