Good Channel Both x
You are doing a good job! Thank you for posting.
congrats on reaching the Atlantic!
I just found your channel last week. Watched a few episodes/night and binged the last 10 to catch up last night. Perfect timing! You're hot on the heels of "Sailing Seawind" - another newer channel I just found recently that took the same route you are. You're off to a good start. Congratulations.
My dad had a few Westerly's over the years, Centaur, Pageant and another larger one (name escapes me now). Sturdy well built boats. I'm looking for one now, gotta be a Bilge Keel because of where I'm planning to go...
Can you please do a quick video on your stern arch? I'm thinking of doing the same in my Centaur.
Thanks for sharing your story. I've been watching you guys over the last few weeks. Excited to see you cover so much distance. What is the story behind your boat name and what are your long term plans.
I just found your channel and I've got my old Centaur in the barnyard waiting to be rehabilitated as my 'downsizing' boat. My 'current' boat is a monster steel schooner tucked away in a marina in Baltimore. Are you guys still in Baltimore?
How are you two liking the wood stove? I've a pressurized kerosene heater in mine, and it works well enough, but one of those Cubic Mini stoves is very attractive.
what the hell why they build them two buildings so leaning together?
How much heat does the lamp putout?
The oil lamps put very little heat into the boat. If you are referring to the solid fuel stove, it heated the boat very well! These stoves need to be as close to floor level as possible to be most effective.
